Hi Alina, I do think Russia is one of the most underrated tourist destination. Perhaps the caveat is the airlines, I am not sure they are safe. It is nice to see in you in your happy healthy and pretty look again !Take care!
Russian airlines are as safe as any other airline you would find in the west, it's mostly propaganda against the country that's created by the west. You're safe to fly there any time.
Its underrated because of a general lack of knowledge in the west, pluss all that comes with the fact that Pussia and the west have been in a confrontoninal state for a long time. And it doesn't help we get such a short tourist visa there.... 30 days, one can do almost nothing in Russia in 30 days. I plan a passage trough Russia next year heading to japan and Mongolia, it will only be an extended transit... Had Kamerat putin and his lot given me longer, i would certainly have planned on staying longer. This is the fact that limits tourism to russia , or even makes people deciding not going there at all.

Hands down my favourite vlog of your trip so far! Vladivostok is definitely on my bucket list of places to visit- it has an amazing vibe to it. My favourite part is the cable car- reminded me of Duquesne Incline in Pittsburgh! This is truly a unique part of Russia and you did a tremendous job highlighting its beauty :)

Ah! I live watching your travel videos Alina! It's great that you're getting to visit these amazing cities that are also a part of your roots. That's truly an unforgettable experience! How are the Russian people in these cities like? I've heard many stories about Moscovites and St. Petersburgians (idk if that's right) and I wonder if they are different ( Kind of like Parisians and the rest of France type of situation). I'm curious about what you have to say about it!
Thanks beauty! So far everyone has been absolutely lovely. I do hear that people in the larger cities can be different, but that's in most countries of large cities vs small towns. There is a mentality shift for sure. I haven't gotten to Moscow or St Petersburg yet on this trip but I do have family there and I don't think it will be too far out. Just a lot more wealth for a certain percentage of the population.
@@AlinaMcleod Agreed. I hold no ill feelings towards the regular soldiers such as Germans, Italians, etc. They were just doing what was asked of them, trying to survive. I see pictures of young soldiers 17, 18, and so on. Feel so sad they were so young and died that way. Oh, just noticed your picture in the Soviet Soldier hat. Cute!
I am glad you made it, but it is 12:09 AM on Monday there. well, I just continue to try to persuade to take Monday off....mainly sleep and just snack at the most convenient places. (due to your plane delay ordeals)

I don’t know if it’s true across Russia but when I visited Vladivostok, the food in the restaurants are quite cheap but the drinks are ridiculously expensive. And no free water. It’s like they don’t make much from food but they make up for it with drinks.
