    Your training videos are fantastic, and so useful even for those who don't do endurance, for general fitness and horse training

    What an incredible facility!! We don't have anything like that in my neck of the woods! I even have to battle certain neighbors just to be able to ride on my public neighborhood roads to get to the limited trails, and that's with the promise to pick up any manure! I can't wait to see how Roo progresses!

      It's really great to have it available to us again. The hacking isn't great from our yard so we always box out. I definitely miss just riding off the yard to great training. Shame about your neighbours though! X

    Such a beautiful video, the drone shot is fantastic! Very nice facility, the ground is soft and well kept, kudos to them! I love your training notes added, you are very professional and passionate.

    ah, good to se my pony isn't the only one that gets sweaty in the face after a nice run! He also isn't that too keen on getting his face washed off though 😅

    That would be so much fun to have tracks like that around the US to train on. Most of the time, you need to have your own farm and install something like that.

      Do you not have training tracks you can hire in the US? X

      @@bethendurance I was checking for any and can't find any around. I live in Minnesota and the only race track we have is Canterbury but that is for thoroughbred racing during the summer. We have trail systems around, but we have to compete with the bikers, walkers, dogs and all others on the specified horse trails. Or, we have have gravel roads to ride on, but we have people that have no horse sense and that love to act like an idiot around them.
      Maybe I should see if my company I work for has offices in England so I can move there and have proper endurance training, lol.

      I'd always assumed the training would be better because there was more room 🤣🙈🤪 saying that out loud makes it seem really silly 😅🤣 x

    I am drooling with envy! Like Jen Z, I can't find any place like Sports Gallops. I'm in California, near Tevis country, and I've not heard of anything like this. Yes! I'd love to come to the Gallops with you! Do you know what they used for footing? -Holly PS Loved the drone footage!

    Hi Beth I have a question can you please make a video about that. How we can get our horse calm? As you know there are limit about pulse during the turnimant? What can we do for down pulse rate ?

    • @bethendurance
      @bethendurance  2 года назад

      Hia, the problem with this is that there is no easy fix or one way to do it. It's basically just giving the horse more experience and making them comfortable with the environment. Practice as much as possible in as many different environments. Keeping a good routine helps them and you know exactly what's coming and you learn how they react to certain things but all horses are different x

      There can be so many things that effect this. Going too fast for the horses fitness, dehydration, lack of electrolytes, pure excitement/stress. Maybe just go through everything you did, make a list of things you could change and try then one at a time? X
