As a person of Mexican roots living in the US this story hits home so much😂 from the current corruption to the UK’s treatment of immigrants, it sounds so much like what’s been going on in US/mex in these recent years. So bizarre. I saw the Gary Lineker story tweet but I had no idea just how deep it went and the drama it caused afterward. As always, great video!
The US and UK are both going through a rubbish political period 😕 The silly thing is that it is a very English problem. Wales don't feel this way, but because we don't have the power to take more asylum seekers and immigrants, we can't. Hate the fact that England rules the roost here. We want more immigration, we need it! It's great for the economy and helping people in need should be a top priority.
Videos like these should be on the spotify podcasts!! It would be amazing to listen to this while multitasking on different platforms

I’m not sure what to think of it to be honest, I don’t really have an opinion on it but I’ve seen arguments from both sides, bit of a messy situation.
Very messy. The policy wasn't clear. He didn't think he did anything wrong, they did. It's the Tories involvement which bothers me the most. They should stay out of it
The only scandal is how the Tories are still in power, they are the equivalent of giving a toddler a crayon and a newly decorated wall and then expecting them to somehow sort the resulting mess up

This whole situation is just so embarrassing. The actual migration policy is awful and makes me so ashamed to be British.(also the country is Rwanda) And then the way the BBC are trying to punish somebody for having an opinion is just crazy. I’m glad u covered this very important topic!

Wow, that's crazy. As an American I have very limited knowledge of UK politics but here we're frequently told things like "the Democrats would almost be considered right wing in europe", so even though I had heard the Tories were more right wing I'm a little surprised and concerned they'd be doing these things and parroting this kind of rhetoric. Fun fact: at the U.S.'s inception Tories were the word we used to refer to loyalists to the British Crown, who were frequently tarred and feathered and then mostly fled to Canada or back to Britain after the war. 😅
Yeah, I heard the Democrats would be right of centre here. It is totally crazy though, imagine Biden criticising an MLS pundit and getting him sacked for tweeting a criticism. It's nuts!

Lineker probably did have that top goal scorer record for England. But Wayne Rooney had it more recent years than Harry Kane broke Rooneys. So Rooney probably broke linekers.
