Worth while trip is along the Mourne mts coast and Carlingford lough, Carlingfords really scenic spot and Dundalk down the road is also a nice town, great pub scene.
I lived in Galway for almost 4 yeers when I did my bachelor and I loved it ❤ I'm still thinking of going back to visit hopefully soon. This video has helped me relax and I am about to fall asleep thank you ❤
@@WelshASMR82Mapswexford and kerry are the best wicklow is also worth a good visit i would recommend seeing the pyramid of arklow as well while your in Wicklow its surrounded by a scenic graveyard not many people know about it thats why it's worth the visit
Dublin has grown in size and population so much and so fast it has kind of become separated from the rest of Ireland. It's like it has entered an international fast lane at odds with what is a natural slower and more considered Irish way of life.
Would definitely recommend Cork, Galway or Sligo for anyone looking to come to Ireland. All of these cities are close to a Gaeltacht, have cheaper accommodation than Dublin and are right beside beautiful landscapes on the Wild Atlantic way. (E.g. Kerry Coast, Clew Bay and Crogh Patrick and Sliabh League and Bundoran). For anyone looking for an urban experience go to Belfast as Dublin is 💩 and just any other city. Again another amazing video thanks so much!! 🇮🇪 ♥
Much appreciated! I finished recording and had a knot in my stomach afterwards! I don't want to upset anyone, but I also couldn't exactly ignore the topic either. Thanks for your reassuring comment!
And I agree Dublin does not reflect much of what true Irishness is about. From walking around the city alone you can’t tell you’re in Ireland, there’s nothing that distinguishes it from any other city. Much better off going to The Wild Atlantic Way (West coast) for authentic Ireland!
I live in dublin and its a great spot to live but very expensive and your right if you were a tourist i would recommend cork or galway but you should definitely do like a day trip to dublin because there is alot to do
I don't think you can sail from Cork direct to Wales any longer. There used to be a direct service between Swansea and Cork but it was withdrawn some time ago, I believe.
They really aren’t, like they’re minute in size in comparison and don’t have a fraction of the amenities and restaurants, as someone from neither of the 3.
Well, if my trip were a day later back in 2020 it would have been cancelled. We flew home and Ireland closed the next day! :( So sad you didn't get to go!
have a lifelong dream to visit ireland because i’ve always loved irish folkmusic, so i’d like to pay a visit some graves of a couple of musicians. but as you said, i have always been told not to go, or at least not plan the trip to mainly be in dublin anyways. but i’d be happy with some pints of guiness and some live folkmusic, but surely i’ll visit galway and more as well. 💚🤍🧡
In truth, I panicked a bit after recording this because I was worried that someone would take offense. Every comment (so far) has agreed with me about Dublin. I am off the hook!
I have strong ancestry in Ireland (as for most brits), and I have visited the north but not the republic my dad is Irish (north) and although most of my Irish heritage is northern I have family from the south
I love his little "if so i win" at the beginning around 1:35

I'm curious to see a list of your favorite asmrtists

I am so envious! 4 days in Galway was amazing, imagine 4 years!
Great video ☘️ 🇮🇪 and you are right about Dublin. I'd recommend the West and the South of Ireland they are the best places to visit.
Thank you!
Dublins still great city. Also like some of the less visited towns on the east coast as well tbh. Some Proper pub towns there.
Kerry is where it's at

London is the same. It doesn't feel like England / UK but a different country
Thats cuz its full of foreigners

I am pleasantly surprised so many people agree with my opinion on Dublin vs Galway/Cork etc. What a relief! Haha
Dublin is a nicer city than belfast dublin is just so damn expensive
Great video my Celtic brother, you handled your wording with the situation in the north with professionalism. 🇮🇪

Now you've covered both Falkenbergs FF and my second home country. This is the best ASMR channel by far! 😍
Thank you! 😊
Athlone and Longford would be classified as big towns, not quite cities! Loved this video! From Limerick 🇮🇪

Athlone is big-ish but Longford is not big. It only has 10k. They’re all dwarfed by likes of Drogheda, Dundalk & Swords in terms of towns.
Limerick mentioned
IRELAND MENTIONED 🇮🇪

I would love to live there, it's stunning!
Nos dda from Iwerddon. Diolch yn fawr for making a video of Ireland. And thank you for not just focusing on Dublin like everyone else does.
My pleasure! Beautiful country!
Funny how Ireland looks like it has its own wales in the middle western part.
Oh yeah!
Cork and Galway are vastly superior to Dublin. I 100% agree with you.

Man, make a video with a map and cities of the APL and Championship teams. I think, its a good idea
Hmmm, I like it
Was supposed to stay in a pretty, rural, beachside cottage in the south in October 2020, damn COVID put a stop to it ☹️

Dublin is a little overrated (it is still nice) but the rest of the country is so awesome, you'd miss it just going to Dublin.
