On a scale if 1 to 10... whats the "piss off your neighbors" diesel loudness of this engine at idle sitting in your driveway? Sounds quiet for a diesel. Im thinking about getting one but dont want my neighbors getting pissed at me
It's really not bad at all. During the winter it helps to plug it in at night. Cold starts are definitely louder. But, if this noise bothers your neighbors they are too sensitive and should mind their own business. I had good relationships with my neighbors and they never complained about it or the mustang and it was much louder.
It's really dependent on gearing. I usually drive about 100km/h. It would probably do 120 but it would be near the redline. I've driven others that will do 80mph easy.

The one i go in sometimes only has a top speed of 105km/ hour floored is that normal?
