You can close the fuel door manually from inside the trunk, just lift the internal lining on the side and you will find the gear, push the spring manually and you will see the pin that blocks the fuel door come out. 😜
Im going through the same thing man so I just got the power master starter and the Machman alt… trying to get rid of the electrical gremlins once and for all
@@mexicorolls been there done that! I fought a strange electrical issue for awhile in my sn95. Once I finally sat down and thought about when it happens, I figured out it was a damn ignition cylinder lock causing my strange glitches.
@@BERTRAND85O yep mine did same thing for a bit 11.5 while driving the warning light comes on then if you keep going it will lose more and more voltage mine would come and go because starter wire would sometimes wiggle loose or tight depending on the driving. It got so bad car shut off with 8 bolts and lose power
I know this is an older video but I’m getting 12v upon initial startup then after a couple mins it switches to 14v and stays there the rest of the time. When you were experiencing this did it switch to 14v after a couple mins too?
I had to have my alternator replaced twice bc of pulley noise and the second one now gave me the charging msg tho the gage shows above 14…..im getting an oem put on meanwhile u think I can drive it like that?
did your service charging system go away? or did you have to clear it? mine did the same thing i replaced my alternator and it didnt fix it, then replaced my battery, and ended up replacing the starter and it fixed it but i keep getting service charging system even tho im running 14.0 volts

Ooo nice to know thank you!
@@mexicorolls You're welcome, I've been closing my fuel door this way for 2 years. 😆
@@daskydesign846 hahaha I’ll be doing the same 😂

Nice that should do it wrapping the headers def will help too
@@mexicorolls which starter did you go with ?
@@joaquinbudken4860 just another stick one I’m doing a turbo setup now though so shouldn’t be anymore melting in terminal
Glad you got it figured out. Electrical issues can be the worst!
Yeah it was starting to drive me nuts 😂

@@PMPerformance least you figured it out
@@mexicorolls you always get them figured out. Some just take longer than others. It’s part of the labor of love. Lol
@@PMPerformance very true!
TIME TO HIT MEXICO WHOS FIRST? 🇲🇽🥖😈
Putting some fresh rod bearings in now and I'll be ready
Mines doing this exact same thing…
Check that starter it happens to a lot of them!
Check fuse/alternator first but yeah the positive power wire/terminal gets melted esp with aftermarket headers so def check that too!
@@mexicorolls Battery reads 12.65v with car off and 11.80 at the battery with car running and 11.56 at the alternator with car running..

No it started at 14 then slowly went down. Ended up being the starter melted positive terminal
@ducati_rider69
I’m having the same issue with the charging system I have new battery and alternator. Did you end up changing to a new starter?
Hey I did replace starter yes! Headers melted the positive power terminal on starter take a peak at your starter see if it’s cooked!
I had to have my alternator replaced twice bc of pulley noise and the second one now gave me the charging msg tho the gage shows above 14…..im getting an oem put on meanwhile u think I can drive it like that?
If volts start to drop definitely don’t drive it cause it’s left me stuck a few times
Definitely check that starter too cause I blew through 2 alternators before fixing this
Yeah I’d bet this thing is gonna be crazy once it’s tuned right lol
It’s gonna move decent for what it is I can’t wait to turbo it 💪🏻

Yes so I did the same thing you did all that starter fixed it
@@mexicorolls after you replace the starter did you stop getting the message? Because I’m still getting it even after I replaced it
@@Tommygun-xm3ow yes it stopped completely
Wish you would have showed the parts
Yeah I wasn’t able to be at my buddies shop when he fixed it I was working unfortunately
learned absolutely nothing from this video. 7 minutes of my life Ill never get back
Do you have the same issue? Check your starter terminals. Mine were melted dude to aftermarket headers. Many have found this helpful sorry you didn’t.
