Hey, you are a good angler as well! And knowing the bodies of water most often makes a huge difference. You haven't done terrible! Your expectations of yourself are very high and I know it's disappointing when you don't finish at or near the top. Ryan, you will get there as long as you stay positive and keep giving it your best. I always have high expectations. That will never change. Next one for KAS next week is really crazy. Never been to body of water at all. No practice and in GA. Let’s see. I have a day and a half to figure out top 5 fish.
I enjoyed watching you grind through it man. I know the results aren't what you wanted, but if we are being real, most of our days fall way short of expectations. Keep going and good luck friend!!!
Thank you I appreciate it. Yes most days due fall short. I need to enjoy it more during competition. Next one I will because it is what it is. Never been fishing in GA so new state, new water and no practice. We will see!!
Same thing happened to me this past weekend. I threw a wacky worm into some timber area. Had a rather large bass hooked but was pulling some major drag on my spinning gear. Got it up to the kayak within a foot from the surface and I saw her when she made one last quick turn to deeper water and broke my line! My heart was pounding. Total bummer.

Well as they say, you can’t win ‘em all! I know it’s easy to say from my sofa here at home. 😂
No you can’t win them all but I thought I would have found more fish than what I did. Next time. I wish I was on the sofa….
