Shout out to my bro Brian Collins. I use to go to Fairfax High School with him out here in L.A. we had P.E. during the same period in 10th grade. As someone from out here, I get what he is saying about the distinction between LA (the city) versus Compton, Long Beach, Inglewood, etc. They are their own cities with their own unique characteristics, but they're still in LA County which is why they're associated with LA overall.
