Nice...It took me a little while to get it all together in my Bristell. Now I do every pattern the same. Start at 72kts, 1st level of flaps, End of runway cut power to 3000rpm's, pitch for 72kts, turn base, go to 2nd level of flaps, maintaining 72kts, turn final. Reduce speed to 65 to 68kts until I've crossed the threshold. With a crosswind, I land with flaps at 2. With none or straight on, I go to 3 and make a point on the runway I want to hit. That's where I flare and reduce power to land. Since I've committed to this procedure on every landing, My confidence is near 100% now. You'll get it. Great CFI showing much patience and positive feedback to you. Welcome to the Bristell Club!!
Every CFI is different, and one just needs to find the right one to be able to learn and fly safely. There are CFI's that aren't compatible with how one learns, and only add to the stress level. I would choose you if I was looking to add a rating to my PPL. I love the Bristell, and I hope one day to fly one too. Thanks for the video.
