This is how an interview should be conducted. Ato asked excellent questions with great perspective. Emma answered them thoughtfully and articulately. The video and audio were excellent as well. Thank you!

This is one of the best interviews in any arena which I have had the pleasure to see. Ato's intelligence and sensitivity, was most impressive. Athletics, like many sports, is strange insofar as we never know if most competitors have retired, or got injured or pregnant, and only after say three years missing do we have to accept the fact that we'll never see them again. I liked watching Ato run, and to his credit never once in the interview did he mention his four Olympic medals. I would like to ask him what he treasured the most - his Olympics silver, or his world championship gold? I looked for him for several years after he had gone.
Emma here was as usual charming, intelligent, modest, and extremely articulate. A wonderful interview thanks to both parties.

Ato very insightful questions to Emma. Of course he has vast knowledge of the athletic mind but really impressed by Emma's answers & what she expects in the future. Training in the high altitude is a big advantage & the African ladies do so much as well. Great interview !

Emma Coburn, you are such a class act. Best Wishes for you and your family, the drive and dedication you have to climb that mountain of competition and succeed,
Your business like attitude on the track is also fun to watch,
It also helps you are a Colorado mountain woman lol.
    God bless

It helps that she trains hard at about 9,000 feet back home. That makes a big difference in muscle capacity, hemoglobin & oxygen, gives her an advantage at races at sea level.

I despise track athletes. War means "no" is, or it means yes... so long as you are not Jew. If you are Jew then war means "yes" is, or no, so long as you are dead.
