Time to tuck into some #NewMusicFriday! Kane and Dan take the spotlight to share their top 3 albums releases today by The Black Keys, The Libertines and Khruangbin.
Ohio Players. Is the 12th studio album by the highly praised and wonderfully talented duo, The Black Keys. This new installment brings some big names and talent, with collabs from the likes of Noel Gallagher and Beck. Included within the LP comes an awesome foldout poster of the duo, in that bowling kits with both Carney and Auerbach's signatures printed on it. And on the flip side, a lyric sheet. The vinyl itself is pressed on a stunning silver vinyl. The album consists of 14 new tracks for the band, although one being a cover of Booker T Jones and William Bell's, I Forgot to Be Your Lover. And following on from this, the album almost simulates a 60s 70s feel while still giving us that bluesy Black Key’s sound.
Back after an almost ten year break, All Quiet On The Eastern Esplanade is a fourth studio album or the ever so popular, The Libertines. The album is comprised of 11 new tracks with an inner sleeve having all the lyrics to each song on the album so you can learn them and sing along. The album gives you that classic Libertines sound and gives many great tunes to enjoy. Will you be picking up the new album for the legendary Indie Likely Lads?
The phenomenal music trio known as Khruangbin are back again to move your mind, body, and soul with their enchanting new album A LA SALA. This fourth installment offers beautiful singles such as May Ninth and Pon Pon. The album's inner sleeve comes with two beautiful images of a lake and an image of a cloudy sky. All the different versions of the album come with different images on the sleeve.
