    First came surfboards... and then came shortboards, which turned the surfboards into longboards. Then came mid lengths. Shouldn't they be called just surfboards then?

      Franco, I own a midlenght because I am older and surfed for 40 years. I used to be young and could surf 40 feet waves or 10 feet tubes, but now I have a hard time with short boards paddling in waves and not wanting a long board. Thus people like me actually enjoy mid-lenght as it is perfect for older experience surfers that no longer have the strength of you young guys ;-)

    more volume would do. def don’t need a mid length
