Back in the 60's, Estes Saturn 5 model was all tubes, balsa and wooden dowels, which made up the escape tower. It took me 6 weeks to build it and was powered by a "D" engine. I also built the Mercury Redstone Rocket and Saturn 1B too. These were level 5 (Advanced) models. I miss building them.

I still don't understand how the original Estes Saturn V flew on only a D size engine? I am working on a re-issue and at minimum it requires a E size motor for a risky flight of 200ft?

Did you get LAANC approval? To fly a toy drone in my yard takes a Federal permission. I hate what the uSA has become.

Then leave....bye. Just go... it's part of our pandemic improvement plan as a nation...encourage the emigration of all the uncooperative dipshit Chads and Karens that can't be bothered to do a few very simple, unobtrusive things to help ensure the safety of their fellow 330,000,000 citizens all to preserve their "freedom" to fly their little dick drones and other super-important shit like their toy drones.

My 1st Saturn V was the Estes 1:232 (?) scale kit which flew on A,B, or C motors. I still have the rocket though the plastic glue on fins are gone. But, I modified the model to take the plastic fins that came with the Titan II model rocket I still fly her
