Todoist is by far the best. Quick entry, NLP, intergratiions... wow! Microsoft Todo is buggy as hell and Akiflow Todoist intergration is broken (why I left). Strange, I would have listed Clickup ahead of Trello.
I tried motion for a few months. Very expensive and even after a few months, you will still find yourself battling it's "automation". The concept is good but it just doesn't quite work right yet.
Is it weird that any piece of software or application that's paid or offers in app purchases or has a premium paid tier is automatically a deal breaker for me and it becomes a no no forever in my digital space?😂
I like Todoist, the design is great and the features too, but I don't want to pay for it though and the free version is good but no notifications for free, that's too much.
Could you compile user base comparisons? Which app is the biggest? Do you get sponsorships from the apps? I just wonder why Asana never gets a mention from you in the last years?
User base comparisons would be really difficult. Sponsorships are always stated, but when it comes to comparing tools we only allow our opinion to seep through. We are actually reshaping a lot of content recently and Asana is on the list.
MS Todo would have been a perfect app for me that does everything I need and syncs across my PC and mobile, if it weren't for that complete moron who dictated that the "My day" list IS to be cleared every day at midnight, no opt-out or whatever. This paternalistic idiocy barrs you from setting up your "My day" list the evening before, as any sane person would do.

It says a lot about Todoist that after all these year it is still the task manager that everything else gets compared to.
The 300 task limit and the bad Apple watch app make me consider leaving but I’m too invested in it. It’s like moving houses😂

The way you phrased the 'I hate to do this' made me worry that something had gone wrong with todoist
Yeah, no quite the opposite, Todoist thriving - just alternative videos coming on all apps.
Motion doesn’t have an ipad app :(
Always your biggest fan!! Really into your content. I have tried nearly all of the apps you recommended!
Glad you enjoy the videos. Find a set of tools and stick with them, works great.
Good comparison. A free option Google Task is missed. Thing 3 is too costly and could have been skipped. Thanks
Things 3 is a one-time purchase and not subscription based.
Where is apple reminders?

😅
Sorted 3’s screen captures are for Todoist?
0:03 that's not what you say in you title vide. Is misleading.
It should be "Alternatives of Todoist"
We modified it slightly.

I'm currently between MS To Do and Apple's Reminders
I also use todoist for free alongside with cron, using cron for the notifications itself is a good workaround for me.
I gotta keep movin

What about Google tasks? Simple but integrated in Google calendar. And stable and for free.
thank god google task does exist
Things 3 is one of those arrogant Apple apps
Your todoist looks different. Is this a new design or...?
Getting a 404 error on the tick tick link
Updated. Thanks for flagging!
I Can't leave things 3 anymore
@todoist full calendar view please
Ever checked out Amplenote?
It's kinda like Todoist, but with a cool calendar 📅
Why not just make the title of this video ‘todoist alternatives’ given that you said right at the start that it’s actually really good?
Tweaked.

This video is missing chapters. All proper, modern RUclipss have chapters now.
All added. Human error!
