Mysore Manjunath and Mysore Nagaraj are among Carnatic music’s leading violinists. Trined principally by their father S. Mahadevappa, they developed a style which they describe as a “blend of emotive appeal, technical mastery and intellectual sophistication with a strict adherence to the classicism”. They perform in jugalbandi duet settings as well as collaborating with a diverse array of musicians both individually and together. On hearing them play, Ravi Shankar described them as the ‘Princes of Mysore’. Listen to more of the Mysore brothers here:

I was found myself lucky to see & listen Respected Nagaraj sir along with their Son at Engineer Prasanna Bhat sir's residence few years back..
So nice sir..
Had the good fortune of hearing them live at the Dover Lane 2019. What a performance that was. Also the musicians on the ghatam and mridangam are worthy of equal praise if not more. They performed an out of this world duet.

First two parts of the thanam sounds very nice. In the third part played by manjunath sir , most of the phrases does not seem to be like a thanam it seems to be more violent deviating from thanam melody.
