British main menu theme and commentator are ATROCIOUS, especially compared to CoH1.
Even the army voices, while ok, are still too cartoonish at times.
@@AMMN2118 I always liked the cartoony voices more. One of the reasons I don't really like the US in COH 2 is how depressing they made their dialogues,barely any humor. In COH 1 they managed to make the dialogues humorous yet serious when needed. There wasn't any amusement to be had listening to what your units say

+Roy S. I think it's the influence of famous movies and culture. Think of the music from Band of Brothers and Saving Private Ryan in context of the American music. Then think of British movies like the Battle of Britain and the Dambusters and their music. It's a very different sort of theme. American films are often about the experiences of groups and individuals, and the music reflects their struggles and heroism through the war, while classic British WW2 films tended to be about the story of the whole - of Britain herself - and the music reflected the determination of the nation.
Meanwhile, in popular ww2 themes, Russians are often associated with their opera music. German-themed music is generally inspired by militaristic themes.

They both add a certain feel to the nation you are playing. The UKF theme is based on the loss of mainland Europe to the Germans, and this thus empowering the British to fight on. The Russian and Wehrmacht ones are symbolic of the two large nation's military power to repel the enemy, yet also the fact that both nations are heading through dark times.

Honestly, this is the best main screen theme.
The British theme evokes determination, the “We shall fight them on the beaches” spirit. Keeping calm and carry on.

After the WW2, British tank designers incorporated water boilers to the tanks so the tank crew could brew tea inside the tank.

Interesting that other people are discribing the peace and the epicness of this song, but the part that stands out most to me is the gradually increasing sense of nostalgia and tiredness from 2:15, like the musical embodiment of "Sometimes the journey is more important then the destination.", and you have reached your destination.

I love the song, but after 0:47 the theme just becomes incredible, love it. Starts kinda Scottish, then some kinda drum Gregorian Chant then some battle theme. Astounding.

Just head to your Steam\SteamApps\common\Company of Heroes 2\CoH2\Movies folder and look for the file flag_british.webm - Your average movie
player should be able to play it.
