I am soooooo happy you did a run through of this. We have been following this kickstarter for a while and just backed it yesterday.
I'm in love with this game from the 15th minute of the run trough... The perfect game for my 12 and 2 year old boys. Never thought I would say this but "Biology rules!" :))))) Need to sell one kidney to get some money for the kick-starter but what the hell!

I literally laughed so hard when I saw the thumbnail and realized it was a game. This is hilariously great, I'm so happy that there's a boardgame that can aid in the learning of a biological process. So much better than drilling it in through slides and worksheets. I hope teachers pick this up to engage with their students.

If you didn’t get it and you’re still interested, they have another game up now and they’re offering it with this one in a bundle. (I came to check it out to see if I wanted to get the bundle, that’s why I am watching this video now, lol) The other game looks to be about plant cells. I love the themes.
Absolutely love the concept of "gameducation", or taking the interactive element of gaming to teach something - history, biology, sustainability (CO2)!

Thank you for another great run through. One thing I noticed was that when you dealt out the goals there were 4, in the rules it says one per player plus one which would be 3 in total. Is this right?
i know a lot of things changed from my prototype to the final game, so that could be one of them

Is the board double sided? I'm having a hard time envisioning a 4 player game with this setup
The board is not double sided. In a 4 player game each player gets 3 meeples!
+Darrel G I miss spoke, the board IS DOUBLE SIDED, but for the Virus Expansion, not for a differing number of players.

In the version I have, a two player game only gets two workers per player. That would change the dynamic some.

rahdo Actually, I was totally wrong on that. I misread the rules.
You saved the day ...the designers teach has such annoying background music, such a frenzied pace it’s impossible for me to follow lol...cheers

at 32:00, would Richard have to only pay one ATP due to the event card?
Good question. He would still have to pay 2 ATP. That event card effects the price to purchase event cards from the cell components area, not the cost to build them. However, that a GREAT idea... I think I'll include that in an expansion :-)
