Made the phone holder. Works ok for a phone,but the thing flipped over with a tablet in it. 30 degree angle is too much. Maybe 40 degrees or so will keep it upright.
Interesting, I assume a bigger tablet. In theory you can absolutely increase the angle but would also need to increase the length of each piece (not the 1 inch piece) to ensure it would have adequate support for a larger size.
You actually get customers at craft markets? I've done three this year and they have been DEAD DEAD DEAD. Every vendor I talk to says the markets/shows are completely dead this year. No people, but tons of vendors. So, I won't make anything to sell anymore, but I WILL try some of those page holders as they are neat and I can give them as gifts.
There are many types of alternative equipment that you can use, such as mitre saw for table saw, jig or coping saw for band saw, and the list goes on. Thanks for watching!

Smalls like this actually sell decently well at the market we go to, they're not overly expensive and are neat looking, the book holder especially. Next in the plan is to make the book page holder a batman symbol 😁
Preach it. Nobody here is buying ANYTHING. I've lost money at every show I've been to with stuff that allegedly sells. Nope. Not if no one is showing up to the shows.
@@cuervojones4889 fair enough. Every area is different and unique. I live near cottage country and so most markets have lots of tourists attending, which may be the reason they sell well.
Was enthusiastic at the beginning of your projects but , sorry to say, it was a turn off after one minute. A woodworker beginner has no laser engraver so ..... rustic or not, a laser engraver doesn't fit with a "budget-build" video. The phone holder and the bookpage-holders are useful projects. Again, you could have hanged the first project for something "easier". The topic was “budget build”.
Thank you for the feedback. There are other options in making signs as well such as painting, stencil, router, etc. if they work for you. The idea is simply to be creative with what you have already 😁.

Those will absolutely work! You can use the mitre for straight cuts, and set your table saw to a 30 degree angle (if making the phone holder)

There are other ways to do it than a laser engraver. You can use a vinyl machine also like a cricket

Absolutely you can, and you can apply polyurethane over top of vinyl as well, great idea!

I think you might be able to use a drill and hole saws.
Yep that can work for the book page holder if you have large enough hole saws 😁
