  • I needed a lighter weight Seat Box for fishing trips where I have to either carry the box on my back or use a set of wheels to get to further away swims.
    I wanted to get the box to weigh less than 9kgs, but as commercially made seat boxes often weigh twice that amount, I wasn't sure if I could do it. Watch the video to see if I managed it.

    Hi Fen. Great bit of kit. Are instructions for the 3D printed bits available anywhere? Would using perforated plate for footrest save weight or would it be weaker? I enjoy looking at all the bits you make. Keep it up - you're not that old!!

    • @FishingwithDen
      @FishingwithDen  Год назад

      Hi Terry. Thanks for your comments mate. Perforated plate probably would be better. I just didn't have any.😁 As for the 3D Printed items, I haven't posted them up to Thingiverse, but if you have a 3D printer, I'm happy to email you the .stl files.

      @FishingwithDen  Год назад

      @@terrykeane2502 Hi Terry. I agree. Never put your personal info into an open site like RUclips. The easiest way to do this is to go to any of my videos and look in the Description Box. You will find my email address in their, so all you need to do is send me an email, with what items you would like me to send over. It is probably best if you keep it down to one item of kit at first, otherwise I will spend half the day trying to sort it out for you. If it works on your 3D Printer, I can always send you more as time goes by.

      @@geoff738 Hi Geoff. Wow. Meccano takes me back a long way mate. Lol. I think I've been building stuff for as far back as I can remember. We never had much money as kids, so it was a case of using scrap materials to make small tackle boxes, floats, catapults, bows and arrows, stilts, trolleys and many more items. I think I get much more satisfaction out of using something I made myself, rather than stuff I buy from the shops.
