A few years back when I was going through a terrible depression I slept in a old grave yard, in the middle of the night I woke up to feeling like there was someone stroking my arm, as if I were being comforted..
when my mum died I was very depressed I was drinking one nite and I got a strong urge to go down and lay down on her grave just to be near her ,I just went and lay down in bed imagine waking up the next morning on top of a grave, even worse imagine someone walking past and seeing u jez
"When you visit a cemetery you need to be both careful and respectful of the families who have loved ones buried there, and not all cemeteries have the best caretakers,so be careful of where you walk,I've learned this over the years, thank God for protecting you and your family,God Bless you.-"😇
Glad your son did not suffer a broken ankle or any physical harm. The neglect of the cemetery includes not looking out for sinkholes, or cave ins, in the earth. Being a cemetery, not a housing development, those things would go un noticed, and certainly add an air of creepiness to the entire landscape. My late Uncle Jimmy was very wise. He always used to say, "Honey, don't ever be scared of the dead. It's the LIVE guys you gotta watch out for!" :-)) Thanks, and stay well, y'all.
I used to take pictures of grave markers from different graveyards, mostly the older the better. I would than come home download them into my computer, after the pictures were loaded I would find pictures from that time and post them with the markers, This way people could see what life was like when that person was alive, gives a person a better understanding of life back when, how they grew up, what they had for living accommodations, travels, entertainment, whatever one might think. Keep up what you are doing, maybe take some single shots, History always needs to be remembered.
Yes, I agree - times were so different. The older headstones are the most beautiful ones. I do take a lot of pictures. I have visited graveyards for people all around the country who have asked me to photograph a loved one's site for them because they live too far away. It is comforting for them since they aren't able to visit the grave site in person.
I saw a U.S. veterans gravestone there. I've been to a few cemeteries. I'd never video them and add mysterious music and post on the internet, out of respect. That's more important than trying to be an amateur scary film maker IMO
As a young man I worked at a huge cemetery with very old sections where the wood caskets would collapse when you ran the mower over them. They usually would drop quick with a whoosh and dust would fly out. We always told the new guys that sometimes the occupant would come shooting out too like when you stepped on a banana ....
Twitter Rage I'm so grateful for people like you who take care of the upkeep of cemeteries. I'm sure the spirits feel the same way and are blessing you in ways you may not even know.
It can be interesting and also dangerous exploring historical cemeteries, however one should be respectful of the dead and not stand or walk on their actual graves, when I was younger we used to walk through some really really old places and we were extremely careful and respectful and also keep in mind that not every grave is marked
In unkempt cemeteries this proves to be very difficult because you don't realize you are walking on a grave until you see the tombstone due to weeds, etc. So sad.
I am never afraid in cemeteries. In my mind it is just peoples mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters and peoples children...they don't become "spooky ghosts" anymore than my mother/father/relatives did when they passed away. Jmo
It's a different culture (and climate) here in New Mexico. Only the cemeteries beginning in the 1960's have any grass or caretakers. Most of the old cemeteries are dependent on loved ones to volunteer their time for the upkeep. The weather and lack of water also play a huge part. Most of these cemeteries have no water supply.
That's what prison work gangs are for! Have them spruce up that graveyard. better than having them lounge around all day lifting weights or watching television. recoop some of the tax money spent on their incarceration.
lisa myhre yes im sure they do the best they can, there are so many cemeteries in this country that need attending to also, wish there could be funding to keep them nice.
I expect members of the family drop to pay their respects, then place few flowers on the graves. It's called being decent and remembering those we once loved. I must go and see if I can find my Grandmothers grave, she died in 1960. She was a wonderful women who had lost two husbands and had a hard life supporting her 5 children. I loved her dearly.
I went to an old Cemetery in Springfield Missouri it had like 10 graves in it but there was no upkeep on it for years so you could see the caskets coming out of the ground. Me and my aunt Dixie she wanted to find her grandmother's grave where she laid to rest. We were searching quite a few cemeteries and we take chalk two paper and go over the gravestone to see what it said and the last Cemetery we went to we ended up finding for grave site al San Francisco and I was up there to spread my dad's ashes with her it was an experience I'll never forget rest in peace dad and now rest in peace Auntie Dixie, I love both of you, To my great great grandmother I never met rest in peace my great great grandmother, I'll I'll meet you when I'm ready to meet my maker. God bless this world Christine nardico aka Christine Christian
Angela Warner What i didnt get was there was a brand new house right nexted to small Cemetery. I would think they would have had it filled in with dirt, but they didn't touch it. I would like to believe now it's filled in, I couldn't live next door looking out my window looking at caskets coming out of the ground. I would like to think that old cemetery is all fixed up now.
This why we use concrete vaults today. The old timers used wood and it rotted away. That is why you should not stand on a grave plus it is disrespectful.
I love old cemetery . I go in and look at them all the time. Its clear they have been long gone and forgotten. As long as I'm alive not one family member will go unforgoten. Thank you for sharing.
The statuary and wrought iron are beautiful. So much sorrow here. I hope that maybe it inspires someone or a group to come help clean this sad place up a bit. Thanks for posting. The saddest graves are those of children and babies.
Lisa Messmer I found a cemetery in West TN where all the people in it were under 20 yrs old. It was from the time of the yellow fever epidemic. That was a very sad place.
By the gifts and flowers left by those left behind, I think they’re doing the best that they are able to do. I think it’s still a beautiful and sacred place.
Instead of filming, try putting flowers on all the old children graves. My children and I did that in an old cemetery in ca. Nd for weeks I had butterflies near me, land on my car and on myself. I know it was a thank you because it had been so long since anyone visited them.
We were in an old cemetery one day, mowing and tending to it. One of the grave markers really got to me... On the headstone was the name of the mother and her baby. The mother died in childbirth at the age of twenty-one and the baby died the same day, which happened to also be it's day of birth. There was one grave, which told me the babe was in the young mother's arms. So sad.
Thank you for doing that, that is so kind and a good lesson for children. I do give water to flowers and plants on graves near my mothers grave on the cemetary. Some people dont get no visitors at all. Its a kind thing to do what you guys did ❤🙂 greetings from The Netherlands
This totally reminds me of a forgotten cemetery my friend and I found and cared for when I was 12. It's upkeep is maintained today by an organization, but back then we were secretly pulling weeds off graves and cleaning them up (we were afraid we'd get caught and in trouble). Some headstones dated back to the 1800's which was pretty cool to us.
Old graves settle sometimes it happens. Actually this grave yard did not feel scary to me even with the creepy music. Those are not gifts on the younger graves from visitors. Those adornments are expressions of love. It's a beautiful sunny day. This was a beautiful video.
I, and a couple of friends were exploring and camping in the bluffs North of my home town (which was incorporated in 1836) along the Mississippi River. We found an OLD cemetery with headstones dated back to the late 1700s. Kind of spooky, yet very interesting.
I love your video's. I am certain of life after death. I have proven it over and over. Good and bad. Heaven and Hell DO exist....Thanks for sharing!!!! Sending love your way from Arizona 💖
Yes. I recognized that cemetery. I’m a native of New Mexico. Nothing or no one to be afraid of in a cemetery. You might trip over something or get stuck in a gopher hole!!
It depends on the belief. The fence is to prevent from someone stepping on sacred ground. Others say it is to keep the spirit in. But mainly, it was a prisoner that did not complete their time. 😋
A cemetery from the 1700's was in a lot close to my mother's house. My kids and I went one NIGHT and my whole leg went into the ground. I wasn't hurt but I feel as though I would pray for the person I may have disturbed. I doubt there was much left of the grave contents. Last time I'll be doing that!
Any coffin eventually breaks down and a void is left in the ground where the body is. That is why a mound of earth is sometimes left over the burial site. The mound will eventually sink down leveling the site. Modern graveyards in most states require concrete vaults and coffins are contained inside. Your son’s foot, ankle, and leg would have only sunk down less than 12 inches. The worst injury being perhaps a sprained ankle.
I am a Catholic. It is interesting to me to see all the different devotions and religious momentos's that loved one leave. Good video, not disrespectful in any way.
In response to the question about the fences around the graves. In the Catholic religion, graves are blessed by a priest at the time of the burial. It is considered disrespectful to trod on blessed ground and it is also considered disrespectful to the person who is in the grave. At least, that is how it was explained to me.
I live in a state that was about 200 years old, i live next to a grave yard and i tend to go there all the time to read the graves, i know I'm wierd but I found 5 graves that was there since the 1300
I do that to. Hangout in the local cemetery as well in Liberty Mo. I actually saw an ghost one morning. Didn't really spoke me, was just curious what I just saw.
There are many idiots in the comments asking why there isn't video of the child slipping in the grave - _USE YOUR BRAINS, PEOPLE!_ This isn't a movie, it's _REAL LIFE._ What caring parent is going to film their child in trouble, instead of stopping to help?!? Sometimes I genuinely believe humanity is doomed (unless we can cure stupidity, that is).
Thank you! That's exactly why there is a second part to this video - I had to stop filming to help my son. I can't imagine that people think I should have just kept the video rolling just to get the "actual" footage. They obviously have no children to be asking that question.
If you're going to bring your child into a cemetery, wouldn't you have instructed him to not step onto the grave itself? I have children, grandchildren, and a godchild. They all know that we do not walk on anyones grave period. That's showing no respect for the deceased.
As I have stated over and over - toward the back of the cemetery going into the hills, it was so old that not all graves had markers, so there were times that there was no indication of a grave. My son didn't deliberately walk on top of a grave. He said there was nothing nearby to indicate there was a grave beneath his feet. We are very respectful when we go to cemeteries - that's in fact, why I/we go.
I didn't see or hear anything that made me afraid in the cemetery video, I also love walking in old cemeteries n do not find it spooky or threatening in any way I find great peace n solitude
I found there are rabbits burrowing under the graves at my father’s cemetery, but not under his or I would have found that pretty concerning. They are feral creatures here in Australia. I did think it was not a very healthy situation for all these burrows under the old graves. Council has the responsibility for the graveyard upkeep, but I don’t think they would be able to eradicate the rabbits entirely as there are just too many and also we are bordering an endangered bandicoot conservation area. The old graves are barely maintained though possibly due to living relatives moving out of the district decades since.
+sprocketrocket07: I see we already have a helpful suggestion, unfortunately from those who don't understand the unique ecology of Australia. Where's that cemetery located, and which local council oversees it?
For the RUDE PEOPLE who are posting unnecessary rude comments such as "what's the point of the video" and other bullshit. It's not the person's fault that you watched it so the comments are uncalled for and if u didn't like the video. Don't watch! Simply watch something else! No need to comment to the creater of the clip! STFU !
i find going to and visiting cemeteries a GOOD thing. JMO. it's a way to respect and honor the dead, even if you don't know them, just to preserve their memory in a way. just me?
ibkristykat You are absolutely right! If people are uncomfortable doing this, they certainly don't have to. But I think people who visit unknown graves are wonderful! Everyone deserves to be remembered.
My husband and I visit grave yards since our 21yr old son died. I had him cremated he is home with us. I can see him anytime I want and I just want him on this earth as long as I am. Crazy I guess but if you lost your child you would feel crazy too. I hate to think of ppl forgotten. I try my best to keep my son's memories alive in everyone And everything. Its coming upon 2yrs Sept 30. Its sad to see a grave not taken care of. Isn't there anyone who remembers them left alive.....just sad. There is also a sad comforting peace in grave yards. I see parents dead and I think how lucky they are to die before their children.
Karen Leister Sorry for your loss, the same with my niece, her boy died at 20, she takes his ashes with her when she travels, my sister sort of smirked about it, and thought it was weird, i don't that poor woman has been through a lot, she finds comfort having him with her, bless her and bless you to miss, for to lose a child is the worst pain, godbless
I was once visiting Japan with hubby when I snapped a picture of a cemetery. Hubby said "You shouldn't take pics of cemeteries, it's badluck". Me not being superstitious shrugged but then about 5 minutes later my brother (who was looking after our dog back in Australia) called me to say she was not well and he was taking her to the vets asap. Turned out she got an infection. We rushed back home earlier than planned and the next day had to put our Misia to sleep. I never took a picture/vid of a cemetery again.
I used to go out and relocate long forgotten cemeteries in the South. It's sad in a way how people do not respect the old cemeteries. They allow their cows to tear up the old fences and knock over tombstones that can't be read anymore. Or teenagers go in to shoot up the headstones or break the headstones up into pieces. Very disrespectful. These are resting grounds and no on should be tearing them up or their monuments or statues. But I have to say that relocating them was like reuniting them with the people looking for them. It's frustrating when you live a long way away and cannot find your family anymore and you know they are there somewhere. So I felt like it was a worthwhile activity. Plus some of the tombstones were dating back to the 1600s.
The ground giving way... could be part of why the caskets are required to be encased... My Grandmothers had to have a cement box that her casket was placed in..... Sadly as life goes on I'm afraid more cemetery's will start looking like this one... I know a beautiful cemetery in Sheridan Wyoming has an old next to the new and it's as bad as this one here....For some reason as we for get family we didn't know....and the money runs out for the up keep the old cemetery takes the hit someday that very land will be taken back to build town houses on... You watch new laws come in someday that we can no longer be put in the ground
We have a military cemetery in my town and in the front is the old grave markers and even though they keep the grass down and weed around the graves ( I know because my son used to do that) they don't take the time to clear the markers that are on the ground flat so you wouldn't know someone was there. " No it wasn't my son's job to do that" My cousin and I were clearing them just to make these people who fought for our county a century ago or longer is still being honored. The newer graves were in great condition and for a cemetery that has really really strict rules in everything you would think they would from time to time clear the grass away from it. Just a little side note, across from the cemetery is memorial of the people that died in Beirut and they haven't been keeping it up real great either. The newer memorials and like the newer graves in wonderful condition. I think it's just a shame.
15 years ago I had to move away from the town where my parents are buried and the one and only time I could visit their graves was around 2 in the morning. It wasn't the most pleasant thought I had but they were my parents so I didn't fear visiting them in the wee hours of the night. I arrived and stayed for about a half hour and was at ease the entire time. It was hard to leave knowing I would no longer be able to visit their graves any time I wanted. I took some photos and the flash revealed what looked like many thousands of orbs in every shot.
Btw, people, a lot of very old graves, and some modern Latino ones, have the fence around to keep people from stepping on them. Thank you for filming this old lovely graveyard, Tipsy! I’d bet it’s a Catholic one, as well as being either very old and/or a Latino one.
Shameful 45...... being White or Hispanic is not the point....the point is being Catholic. Catholics are taught wrong about Salvation. They put more emphasis of Mary than they do Jesus. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, not Mary.
For this most part I think it’s a beautiful cemetery. Maybe it’s all of the religious statues. It’s sad how some people have been forgotten, but maybe they don’t have any family that are still around. How very scary to sink into a grave. I’m glad this persons son is okay.
Sad that no one takes care of this cemetery. I visited one down from where I lived in Michigan. It's fun learning about the people buried in little town cemerary. The Irish settlers graves were in this cemetary, they homesteaded the land in the area and raised lots of sheep I found out. I found one Grave a large upright statue with 7 small stones with a name and birth and death dates. I figured those small leaning were the children. Looking at dates late 1700's. To early 1800's O'Brien. The mans name was Cornelius I think it read. One girls name was Isabella. Very cool what ever there story was.
People who have no respect for the living will certainly not have any respect for the dead. That’s why so many cemeteries are in such bad shape. It makes me quite angry when I see places like this.
Wow! Thank goodness no one was hurt. I love visiting cemeteries, I always look for the biggest and oldest and detailed monuments, crypt, and headstones. I uploaded a few from around me and I visited the 20th President of the United States crypt and it's cool to see his bronzed casket. It was scary though. I love this video, amazing work.
this is no joke...I was visiting my grandma at the cemetery, with my mom right after she passed..I was a kid....and when we went to leave ..I got in the from seat..and we went down the windy long cemetery road..and my door swung open and I almost got pulled out...I got chills just thinking about it now....something evil wanted me
GREAT VIDEO! I love old cemeteries! Tons in NYC, Queens & Eastern LI! Amazing topic I’ve always been interested in! Thank you VM! It was a beautiful visual tour!
Years ago I did Find a Grave for people out of state to find long lost relatives for family trees and such. I ran into 2 cemeterys that were just strange. Middle of the woods, just nine of them. Took all nine pictures up close with info etc. but not a one turned out. Different camera, new film, went back, again nine more pictures, again none turned out. Last try, again not a one turned out. Second cemetery by a swamp, 3 graves I found, just their names on a small stone. No houses close by, yet a dog was howling. The far stone read "Old Zek". The family said two people went out hunting, a father and his son, and the hunting dog Zek. They never came back and all had been found later dead. I sat in the car and just listened for a long time, sounded as if the dog was really close by, but I never saw it.
No need to ever be afraid in a graveyard. The land is hallowed ground, no supernatural evil can exist there. it's a place of calm and peace, never to be feared.
I disagree ! There are many spiritual beings lingering around because they LOVE death..death is their thing. Not only are there holy angels above and around us but there are just as many unholy fallen angels and demons too lingering around and attached to millions of people who are involved in the occult and sexual sins etc...believe in Jesus and obey his commandments....Angels will keep you safe..but if you dabble in evil things like luciferianism or false religions or sexual sins or murders etc you will open yourself up to many evil spirits and some will even try to kill you and take you to Hell...confess you are a sinner...open the door of your heart to JESUS...follow His Word...you will be safe in His loving care...
My great grandparents grave is sinking in around the edges of their coffins. It does this because they didn't use vaults back then and the coffins rot away because they are made of wood.
Well' thats where all have to go when they die /so what is spooky about it "they were all humans living just as everyone at one time "you dont become demons when you die"so whats is so scary. People love ones are buried there.
Interesting, thanks for sharing. We found "holes at ground level" in an area of the graveyard of my ancestors in Tennessee. Apparently the problem is somewhat common as water makes new paths wherever it can travel. And ground shrinking as it dries out contributes to it too. One had been overtaken by yellow jackets.
I don't see anything weird about this cemetery. I live a few blocks from one that's bigger than the one on this video. I take walks through it all the time! It's quiet and relaxing. And yes I have family burried there!
Deresolution grave yards only have buried the “ vehicle “ that person travelled in , eg the body , the spirit of that person left that “ vehicle “ soon after death . There is nothing scary about a grave yard , you won’t find any spirits there they have gone to a better place .
I used to eat my lunch in a beautiful cemetery down the street from where I was working. Peaceful place - & no interruptions from a boss who thought that my unpaid meal break was a good time for me to work for free.
Janka Janssen Our community has clean up days for our local cemeteries where people come together and take care of the older cemeteries without a groundskeeper
My grand parents on my dad's side are buried in Tx side by side . 1936 last person buried there is my grandfather on my mom side 1969 . Forgot to mention first person buried in that cemetery was a slave from 1874 . Now a suburb with million dollar homes surround the cemetery . My family has a special pass to get in and visit . I believe we will be the last generation to visit this cemetery .
My late gran said that at least you know where they are living but you don't where they are once they dead so be kind as you can be while they are in your life.
I think I saw that and took pictures of it back in 1974 or 75, stayed a few days in Tijeras, NM and this is just N of it on my way to Santa Fe. As I watched your Video, I felt like I seen it before. Thanks...
Yes it is scary when you loose a foot in a old collapsing grave, but it's also sad that as time goes on those old graves are forgotten. People grow too old to really do anything even visit there lost loved ones until eventually they end up in 1 of those graves to, then there's nobody to pay there respects. I think someone should go through the oldest areas, collecting, and marking old bones with tags, and they should do surveyes, and collect blood from people to see who has ancestors in that place, then they should move a lot of the bodies around to reorganize the plots better, and if possible give that land away to those decendents so they have there own family plots when they go. This way the people maintaining the land can higher people to come in, and maintain the land, and because of how old some of that land is not only is it hallowed ground, it should be classified as a historical landmark to. Also yes the place is old, but it's untouched, most of it hasn't been vandalized, or anything, it's relaxing, and peaceful, beautiful, because of it's age it's got a lot of character, and potential. When I go I want to take my permanent nap time in a cemetery just like that. I think I will watch the other videos, and share.
I don't know if it's just a local thing, but here in uk where I live you're not allowed to place artificial flowers or any ornaments, plant a memorial tree/shrub or fence off (personally) the graves because it hinders mowing. only a single vase/rose bowl. obviously when the person is initially interred there are usually lots of flowers, wreaths etc which stay put for a few weeks but after that it's just the one pot. people begin with good intentions, visiting the grave very often, then it dwindles to once a fortnight /month. Then once or twice a year on birthday/anniversary /Christmas, for a few years, then nothing. guilty of it myself. very sad really. BUT they are always in my heart.
Mexicans certainly do it differently and in my opinion all the neglected stuff makes it even more sad, even more dead. And you know, the Jews don't put anything at all in the graveyards except headstones but they put a pebble on the top if they have come to visit.
In the US it varies from cemetery to cemetery. Where my grandparents are buried you can have urns directly on each side, where my uncle is buried it is restricted to a single vase attached to a flat plaque, but where my parents are buried as long as you have it contained within a line of landscaping bricks you can have anything you like within 20 inches front or back of the stone
I sank into a grave to my knees at the National Cemetery in Puerto Rico & lost a shoe. I was 32 yrs old. My Mother praying over my Dad's nearby grave looked at me & all I could manage to do was let out a high pitched "...Mommy?" True story. I was terrified. It rains a lot in Puerto Rico and the grounds are always soft.
In spanish a cemetery is called"El Campo Santo" meaning "Holy Ground". While in an apocalypse a cemetery is a holy place to be. There are many buried in cemeteries that are in heaven and are holy souls that will protect you. Surely, some are not in heaven but it is unlikely there are more in the abyss than heaven and saved. Do not be afraid passimg by a cemetery, even ay night Do the Sign of the Cross instead and say at least a short mental prayer. Thanks for the video anyway. We all learn something everyday. Blessing to all.
The snow hasn't melted because that area is in a shaded area, this graveyard looks huge so no surprise it seemed to go on and on and on...it would be far scarier to have video of your son falling into the grave..
There's something so hauntingly beautiful about old cemeteries. You wonder about the people buried there, their lives, etc., My family has an old old (very old) cemetery out in the middle of the country and there are no "caretakers" with the exception of family members. Some of the graves are centuries old.
I don't have any like this were I live they are all pretty maintained. maybe in old outbacktowns. I loved how this one had it's own style. And that people cared to dress it up how they liked. The pretty maintained garden cemeteries are lovely too.but this one is more beautiful to me because of the personal touch. :)
I was at this graveyard about 10 years ago. We were on our way to Lincoln to see Billy the Kid's haunts. It seems there is more graves there now. Most of the graves are Spanish/Mexico origin. I great place to visit if you have the time.
I worked at my grandfathers monument works. We made and carved stones. Then we would set them. Some old graves had wooden coffins. In time they would deteriorate . It was a horrible experience when we would put in a foundation and the ground would collapse . It was an old grave caving in....I will tell you a scary experience. My friends ans I were camping in the mountains of southern Ohio. I found an old grave yard. I went in and stooped down and read the female name on the stone. All of a sudden something pinched me in the butt! I turned around and asked my friends who did that. But they said what was I talking about as they were not even close to me. Your guess is as good as mine. But I'll never forget it!!!
In my 68 years I have been to a lot of cemeteries ( including Indian cemeteries with spirit houses built over them), but I have NEVER seen any with IRON cages built around them
for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever shall believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life John 3:16
In modern times, a concrete vault that the wide coffin fits into is used to keep this from happening. That was an old grave. Only a wood casket was placed in the ground with the body inside. Those fences could have been used for that purpose, to keep the grades from caving in when the ground above is walked upon.
The graves near the front of the cemetery by the entrance, are the newer graves with the decorations but as you go further back, there is nothing. If you watch the second video, you will see that not only are there no decorations, but the grave markers have grown into trees, some are illegible, and toppled over or half disintegrated.
The flowers were in the newer section of the cemetery. As we went toward the hills, it got really old and there were no flowers or mementos of any kind. I think that part is in the second video. I stopped the video taping to go help my son and continued it a while later.
The Tipsy Gypsy Wow! That's really sad. Did you happen to talk to someone in the community about your findings? Like the mayor or someone? Or even talking to a few various churches in the area? All they need is a get several community volunteers to clean the place up and replace grave markers. I think communities should collectively take responsibility for places like this.
I've been researching EVP's for years, and Im here to tell you that the least active areas for EVP's are graveyards. Mausoleums are even "deader", excuse the pun. In the way of spirits there just isnt much there. Every now and then I might get a class "C" EVP but thats about it. Like a well known medium once said; "If you were a earthbound spirit, where would you rather hang out, at a cemetery or would you move into a night club, or theater, another words some where that is full of life" She was right, not much at cemeteries, although must admit this cemetery is one of the creepier ones Ive seen.
Dan if you were a no class con-man or con-woman, like all psychic mediums are, you just might ask yourself, "Self, where can I pretend to detect the presence of ghosts to maximize donations from people with more money than sense?" "Why, in their own homes for God's sake!" Is the type of answer you'll get. There is no such thing as god, heaven, hell, ghosts, evil spirits or good witches. It's all nonsense and the only people who insist on furthering its nonsensical existence are those, like yourself, who plan to take money from desperate believers in exchange for otherworldly false hope. Shame on you, peddler of lies!!
kanga too Shangri-la life extension thru chronic suspension stores scores of corpses and it s. a thriving business I almost did it but what r dry Eva gonna do with all this corpses
Cemeteries are nothing to be afraid of. Respect the dead, fear the living.
So true. Well said.
It's just a cemetery, I grew up next to one looked out my bedroom window and there it was, best neighbors ever never complained about the noise
A few years back when I was going through a terrible depression I slept in a old grave yard, in the middle of the night I woke up to feeling like there was someone stroking my arm, as if I were being comforted..
wow ~ I am thinking it was Jesus, trying to comfort you. wow
when my mum died I was very depressed I was drinking one nite and I got a strong urge to go down and lay down on her grave just to be near her ,I just went and lay down in bed imagine waking up the next morning on top of a grave, even worse imagine someone walking past and seeing u jez

Just looking at the cemetery just feels off and something off.
These are lovely. Some commenters clearly don't understand the love and care that is being shown.
Thank you!
Jmo
People. should get together in the community and clean the cemetery up, suppose to have respect for the dead.
Robert Gardea Maybe pull some weeds, rake up would look good.
Jacqueline Dixon probably in New Mexico a very poverty state
lisa myhre yes im sure they do the best they can, there are so many cemeteries in this country that need attending to also, wish there could be funding to keep them nice.
Thank you for sharing. So many long forgotten graves.
I'm sorry but am I missing something here , like what's the point of this?
We were searching quite a few cemeteries and we take chalk two paper and go over the gravestone to see what it said and the last Cemetery we went to we ended up finding for grave site al San Francisco and I was up there to spread my dad's ashes with her it was an experience I'll never forget rest in peace dad and now rest in peace Auntie Dixie, I love both of you,
To my great great grandmother I never met rest
in peace my great great grandmother, I'll I'll meet you when I'm ready to meet my maker. God bless this world
Christine nardico aka Christine Christian
Christine Christian So sad! Do you know if the cemetery is being taking care of now?
Angela Warner
What i didnt get was there was a brand new house right nexted to small Cemetery. I would think they would have had it filled in with dirt, but they didn't touch it. I would like to believe now it's filled in, I couldn't live next door looking out my window looking at caskets coming out of the ground. I would like to think that old cemetery is all fixed up now.
This could be such a beautiful cemetery...
Lisa Messmer
I found a cemetery in West TN where all the people in it were under 20 yrs old.
It was from the time of the yellow fever epidemic.
That was a very sad place.
By the gifts and flowers left by those left behind, I think they’re doing the best that they are able to do. I think it’s still a beautiful and sacred place.
I dont see anything scary about the cemetery. It looks abandoned and needs yard work. Otherwise, it is fine. May all those buried there rest in peace.
yes quite dry
That made me smile 😊👏👏
Sweet.
LMAO, I HAD BIRD POOP LAND ON MY CAR! IT WAS THE THANKS I GOT FOR NOT CUTTING THAT OLD TREE DOWN.
I used to work in a cemetery...This one is quite interesting yet odd ...May all rest in peace..😇
Angela Warner ......may God bless you and your friend for that!!
Only thing creepy is the music
Yes. I recognized that cemetery. I’m a native of New Mexico. Nothing or no one to be afraid of in a cemetery. You might trip over something or get stuck in a gopher hole!!
Mae Cordova why do they have fences around the graves
Ganma Debbie To prevent the ghosts from escaping...
K. Dini I thought that to...lol
Family's die off and no one to bring flowers unfortunately that is what happens.graves go unattended sad but true
The worst injury being perhaps a sprained ankle.
so where is the scary part?
I am a Catholic. It is interesting to me to see all the different devotions and religious momentos's that loved one leave. Good video, not disrespectful in any way.
In response to the question about the fences around the graves. In the Catholic religion, graves are blessed by a priest at the time of the burial. It is considered disrespectful to trod on blessed ground and it is also considered disrespectful to the person who is in the grave. At least, that is how it was explained to me.
Thanks, I wondered about that.
Why dont people in the area help clean up the cemetery, doesnt matter how old it is should always take care of our ancestors.
Sue Castillo I agree! If that community got together to clean it up, they'd have it looking better in no time.
The old graves are barely maintained though possibly due to living relatives moving out of the district decades since.
sprocketrocket07 That's so sad! They should simply introduce some natural predators in that area to keep the rabbit population down.
?
It's just a old poor neglected cemetery.
Nothing scary at all!
I know a beautiful cemetery in Sheridan Wyoming has an old next to the new and it's as bad as this one here....For some reason as we for get family we didn't know....and the money runs out for the up keep the old cemetery takes the hit
someday that very land will be taken back to build town houses on...
There is nothing scary about that cemetery, it's just a old cemetery
Katerina thornburgh
No one said it was a scary cemetery.

No one said it was a scary cemetery.
life is borrowed not bought or owned by anyone of us all
15 years ago I had to move away from the town where my parents are buried and the one and only time I could visit their graves was around 2 in the morning.

What a shame this place is not being taken care of.
it s being taken care of. people in new Mexico son t let me blocked nuclear test boys lull Arizona they live thete
Btw, people, a lot of very old graves, and some modern Latino ones, have the fence around to keep people from stepping on them. Thank you for filming this old lovely graveyard, Tipsy! I’d bet it’s a Catholic one, as well as being either very old and/or a Latino one.
Thank you for the post as I have never seen that before.
Arizona Sunflowe
I would guess that this is an old Catholic Cemetery with mostly Hispanic graves.
Shameful 45...... being White or Hispanic is not the point....the point is being Catholic. Catholics are taught wrong about Salvation. They put more emphasis of Mary than they do Jesus. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, not Mary.
LOOKS LIKE SOME OF THE PEOPLE IN THERE WERE LOVED!
I love this video, amazing work.
this is no joke...I was visiting my grandma at the cemetery, with my mom right after she passed..I was a kid....and when we went to leave ..I got in the from seat..and we went down the windy long cemetery road..and my door swung open and I almost got pulled out...I got chills just thinking about it now....something evil wanted me
a neglected cemetery, with eerie music added to the video, no video of the scary moment, cmon tipsy
hey are what AI taut 2 a bachelor s button white tar nation. hay stacks in l a highschool in vegas
I agree for people to clean up the cemetery...the sad thing is, we will pass on.xx
Sad and ok because there was a good purpose u were helping find relatives. U werent taking videos so people could send money.
No need to ever be afraid in a graveyard. The land is hallowed ground, no supernatural evil can exist there. it's a place of calm and peace, never to be feared.
interesting.. that's the reason some people like to spend time there I guess.. others say a spirit may 'stick' to you
I disagree !

You're Crazy
yeah, right. If you bring fear in, you open a door for evil!

Ry.
Some of the fencing was pretty. Especially the one with the spiral designs.
It is of the most disrespect to walk on a person's grave didn't your parents teach you of this
My great grandparents grave is sinking in around the edges of their coffins. It does this because they didn't use vaults back then and the coffins rot away because they are made of wood.
OK, just add dirt as needed.
I would love to hear the story behind that "Monster" inscription.
Sue Ogden I would too!
I would gladly volunteer to clean this poor graveyard. So sad.
Joe Moreno Thats pretty interesting id love to see pictures of the old Cemetery site.
I'd love to see pictures, too. So strange to have to have a special pass to visit your own family. That's really sad, too.
It's not the dead that you have to worry about. It's the living.
My late gran said that at least you know where they are living but you don't where they are once they dead so be kind as you can be while they are in your life.
What a sad looking cemetery, even for fall/winter months look's like not any upkeep....
the lid of the coffin caved in is all.he wouldn't have sunk more than a foot .in the old days they never put concrete around them.
hardcorp 75 I
and in the old days the graveyard keeper would back-fill graves that sunk down as the coffin deteriorated - to ensure everyons safety.
Alberto Rodriguez ;
Looks more like a Halloween place, grass isnt kept up wrought iron fencing is normally used not temporary chain link
And you know, the Jews don't put anything at all in the graveyards except headstones but they put a pebble on the top if they have come to visit.
between 2bridges that's interesting, i didn't know that Jewish people did that. I've learned something new today. thankyou.

Lourdes Torruellas, never walk on a grave, it takes years for the soil to settle. May peace be with you.
Do not be afraid passimg by a cemetery, even ay night
Do the Sign of the Cross instead and say at least a short mental prayer. Thanks for the video anyway. We all learn something everyday. Blessing to all.
holy places yes doing Italy France the earth with all it s utmost it it amazimg
The snow hasn't melted because that area is in a shaded area, this graveyard looks huge so no surprise it seemed to go on and on and on...it would be far scarier to have video of your son falling into the grave..
MY mum would always tell me it's the living you have to watch not the dead.how true is that
Yes that's the exact same Fing my mum always tells me .. and yes so very true
Love the channel name. Your channel is awesome. Love it. Keep up the awesomeness. Your new friends at CM
Lazy sat watching spooky videos
There's something so hauntingly beautiful about old cemeteries. You wonder about the people buried there, their lives, etc., My family has an old old (very old) cemetery out in the middle of the country and there are no "caretakers" with the exception of family members. Some of the graves are centuries old.
I loved this cemetery. Thank you for filming. I'm in Australia and through you tube I get to see the other side of the world. :)
I don't have any like this were I live they are all pretty maintained. maybe in old outbacktowns. I loved how this one had it's own style. And that people cared to dress it up how they liked. The pretty maintained garden cemeteries are lovely too.but this one is more beautiful to me because of the personal touch. :)
I’ve seen this place before and it hasn’t changed a bit!
Whoever had the sword for a grave was a badass.
So God had his son killed to save us from himself? 🙄
In modern times, a concrete vault that the wide coffin fits into is used to keep this from happening. That was an old grave. Only a wood casket was placed in the ground with the body inside. Those fences could have been used for that purpose, to keep the grades from caving in when the ground above is walked upon.
If there were no visitors in 100 years, who placed the flowers? I don't think you could buy artificial flowers 100 years ago 🙂
