+Fitz Alvin i wish somebody could explain why/how there is a STYLISTIC distinction between deathcore and death metal. the only difference i hear is is that deathcore is extremely stripped down, simplistic and repetitive. stylewise i see nothing that's different enough to need a whole other genre label. any stylistic differences that may exist are extremely subtle. now there are other irrelevant differences, such as deathcore bands are generally young, often have short-hair, etc., and i wonder if people make a big deal about THOSE factors. like the idiots who say what makes black metal what it is, is satanism, rather than the way the music sounds. why is this not Death Metal? because it sounds electronic? there are quite a few industrial death metal bands out there.
***** genre labelling is quite important to differentiate the differences, this is not deathmetal but Deathcore/metalcore-ish mix. It is not because it is sound electronic but the way the style they play, this quite groovy as well, stop whining about deathcore being simplistic or being repetitive, you seems to be a metal elitist to me, so many deathcore band are good out there like Aristeia, Thy art is murder, Molotov Solution are not repetetive, just because it sounds good you want to claim it as deathmetal and if its bad you label it deathcore. Deathcore and DeathMetal have quite same characteristic in terms of Blast beats and dark atmospheric sound or tone, the big difference is Deathcore have Breakdowns! This music is quite Metalcore-ish~deathcore ish to me and i think anyone notice it, stop living in an era where "Deathcore is repetetive or blablabla" world, Deathcore nowadays are progressing and moving towards Progressive/Technical stuff because of this Djent trend.
***** Lorna Shore is a good deathcore band if you have not heard of them....Slice The Cake, Aversions Crown, The Contortionist(exoplanet album era), Assembling The Chariot, Nexilva, Aristeia, Monasteries, Dysphoria, Man Made God, Oceano , these are the bands labellize themselves as Deathcore, there are alot of deathcore bands nowadays sounds like "Deathmetal". Deathcore is a mix of Deathmetal and Metalcore, not hardcore. That is why Deathcore have surprise, surprise, Surprise!!! DeathMetal Sound ish dark and heavy tone but with the use of Metalcore riffs and breakdowns.

I guess you just have to say "this is uber processed and it's okay".
I feel better. It's ok to like pure digital.
Don't tell my parents.
***** See my mistake in what? Knowing it's very processed and still enjoying it?
***** How would a live show alter my enjoyment of this video?
+mauhadette Its like fake tits v real tits. They are really good live. IDK why producers are like this...maybe they wouldn't have jobs otherwise, idk.

エッッッッグ
do people classify this as deathcore?
i can't, since its very melodic and not simple or repetitious. but most people go more by style than substance.
I would just say melodic or tech deathmetal. Fuck labels tho this shit is dope AF
+Corpus Callosum yup, it's kinda proggy deathcore/metalcore mix, and nope this is not death metal
