I'm not quite tall enough to see items that lay flat on the higher shelves at my Goodwill. As I was editing my footage, I discovered I had made a huge mistake and missed something amazing! Lets go thrifting and find out what it was!
Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up.

My Mum and I made a day of thrifting, and we headed right from the location of my last video over to this Goodwill where my Dad was waiting for us inside. Today, the shelves were full and between us we filled a cart with of amazing treasures, including a pair of swan-duck-geese that must weigh 10lbs! Thrift with us for some unexpected items, learn what to bolo and what to leave on the shelf, and why. Greetings - Your show, Thrifting Vegas, is my favorite of all the Thrifting shows. Thank you. Just felt compelled to tell you what you actually have there in those two wooden carved "wood-choppers" that slide back and forth- but are not completed yet. They are a decoration mobile that sits on the top of a windmill and are hooked up to the top of a windmill, usually on a farm, and it tells the farmer how strong the wind is by how fast they are chopping, and which direction it is blowing by the direction they are pointing. I'll be 80 in a few months, but when I was in my early teens I helped my grandfather paint these wood-choppers and set them up at his farm....it was great fun. Thanks for the memory.

Love your videos. I live in Japan. Both are small Japanese vases. The rounder one is not a ginger jar missing a lid. It is a popular shape for vases and often used as decoration without flowers.

The one plain the big pipes. Said it goes right for $60. The one reading to the choir? It's like Tim bucks I think. And also I have the little boy in the hallway carrying his candlestick.
And they have a touch of blue eyes.

I love those little waving cats, Maneki Neko, but there is a specific meaning for ones waving their left paw, or right paw. Yours has all the kitties waving one or the other.
If the cat is waving its left paw, it is inviting customers into the store or restaurant behind it. When the right paw is up, the cat is inviting good fortune and money for the owner.

Yep...the popularity of signs in home dec has seen its peek and buyers have moved on. About 6 or 7 years ago, I bought a paper sign from Etsy...one of those that was printed on old dictionary paper. I framed it and put it on the wall of my office and it still means a lot to me. It reads:
SHE BELIEVED SHE COULD, SO SHE DID.

My Lemmon and orange tree's died after the big flood's we had here in NSW Australia.
I only have one that survived that was on a bit of a hill. Citrus trees definitely don't like crazy weather. Fantastic finds today always lovely to see your mum and dad, your mum always looks beautiful.

I can't sell mugs for $4 or $5 here in NJ. People don't respond to the clothing either. It's miserable for re-sellers here in NJ. Love your dogs. They are so smart.
My father used to do this when I was growing up I remember him taking baking soda and adding it to the water, swishing out his mouth with it and brushing his teeth with it and he didn’t, and he have those gum sores, cause he had faults teeth, and it cured it right up

Lovely haul! My face lit up when I saw the Lamb Chop hand puppet, so sorry it didn't make it home with you! Hope you recovered those missing items. I doubt I'll ever get back to Vegas but always enjoy your videos.
The rounder large pieces are also vases and not ginger jars. Kutani has some great examples of these type of vases.

Your mom could be your older sister. You both look so beautiful. I live shopping with my mom too. I can’t imagine shopping with my dad when he was alive 😊. He had a limited attention span when it came to shopping. I recently found some lovely Hermès porcelain cups and saucers and trinket trays at my local consignment store and a complete unblemished 12 person Limoges dinner service at a local flea market. It’s always exciting to find treasures.
