That was a great team win by the Sparks. Lady Vols getting it DONE down the stretch of that game, with Rae Burrell knocking down those 3s, and Rickea Jackson finishing off the game with the And-1

Kate Martin, picked 18th, is pure gold off the bench. She is so reliable and athletic...the hustling bomber I love to watch. I love the WNBA...everyone of those ladies!
This may have been the best game of the season thus far. These two were going at it. Hamby and Wilson were going at each other all night and you could tell Hamby really wanted this one. Clutch shots for both sides..the stars showed up..intense and physically but no cheap stuff. Great game.

@@keesee4141 Not gonna deny that I started to watch the WNBA because of CC but it's nice to get to know some of the other players too. Well, I'm from Belgium so ofc I knew Ann Wauters, Emma Meesseman and now Van Loo with the Mystics but that was about it. Oh, and Julie Allemand will soon join the roster of the Sparks too! This is how she will grow the league, people start with one player to tune in and then they get to know others and start watching them too. The main difference between watching the Fever and the Sparks is the teamspirit on the Sparks seems miles ahead compared to the Fever. The hand clapping after every freethrow is something that stuck with me. They all seem to support eachother. I like that.

I'm glad that Derricka Hamby and the Sparks defeated the Aces. She got some revenge after they screwed her over for having a child. I always love it when the underdog wins, and the Sparks has 2 of the best rookies on their team. I love A'ja Wilson, but her coach is trash and I hope they don't win another title.

The aces lost because they collapsed on defense. They had to lead in the first and the fourth quarter and they just kept allowing LA to score. Los Angeles looked good. They have many offensive threats now.

This is the problem with the fever, they don’t have organization on the court like these teams do! They need to get a new coach ASAP! The only person who passes with the fever is CC! It’s just ridiculous
A lot of her turnovers come from her teammates not anticipating her passes, but I think they will get better.
@@unknownx7252a lot of turnovers also come from her not being able to create off the dribble and she either gets the ball stolen or throws the pass out of bounds in panic.

@@mikee3261 The Fever's teammates can't catch the ball Caitlin passes. Her teammates are terrible and bad. Victor Wembanyama didn't enjoy all the losing in his rookie season either. Same as Caitlin, both generational rookies, both drafted #1 by really bad teams. Even Stephen Curry, the generational player Clark is often compared to, played on a GSW team that went 26-56 in his rookie season. It'll take a couple of seasons for Caitlin to gain pro experience, and for Indiana to build a better team around her. They need to find her new teammates. They might even have to find a new coach that can maximize her skills, if Sides isn't working out.
@mikee3261 I know that's also part of her weakness. Raven exposed her in the championship. I don't watch as much as I would like to because I'm an over the road truck driver. But I do watch some games.
Kate Martin getting playing time only matters if Aces win. The Aces are a disappointment right now which is not good for Kate.

Call me a complete conspiracist. I've watched plenty of highlights. These teams are intentionally not contesting shots. The WNBA wants fans and onlookers to think the games are exciting. I've never seen so many shots and layups unchallenged. Players are too open for 3s and jumpers. I know competitive basketball. This isn't it.
