The sky point guards need to get better.
They miss a lot of shots.
Cardozo needs to get better and dominate the rebounds.
Reese is the only consistent player n the team.

Mabrey hasn’t been playing right past 5 games. She used to hit her shots. Very suspect.

Thank you for pointing this out. Not only is a cry baby whenever she gets touched, but she is very suspect defensively. She is not motivated because coach is finally noticing what we have been noticing.

Terrible coaching once again. Every player for themselves. No ball rotation and players are standing around and not playing as a unit. They looked lost and confused with no motivation to win.
Too much talent not to win ball games. Chicago should be the most improved team of the year.

There are 12 teams in the league. Four have separated themselves from the pack..Connecticut, NY, Minnesota and when back to 100%..Vegas. The remaining 8..any of them can beat each other any given game. They all have good players and it comes down to execution and matchups. Chicago like LA has very spotty G play and will continue to lose close games until that’s resolved. Indiana and Phoenix can’t play defense but can score 80-90 a game. Seattle is coming together. Atlanta and Dallas are too streaky and go long stretches where they don’t score much. Washington has no bigs but can shoot the lights out.
Teresa Witherspoon, I guess thather name, was a great player in her days with the liberty, and she damn sure ain't a coach, or the right coach for these girls. I don't see no foot work, these girls can't keep up with no body, no ball rotation, no kind of a post up game from the bigs. You have Corsdosa and Reese on the floor together. How could the worst team in the league make you look like the worst team. Evidently it who has the worst coach on a team in the league. Spoon ain't got it for this group. I'd feel better if Angel Reese take over the coaching duties. Might have a chance at beat the worst team in the league next time.
Chicago needs to start some new guards because they just play me ball. You have Reese and Cardoso on the floor, and you have players running and gunning. They run zero plays, and that's why they are always digging themselves out of a hole.

As a fan of the WNBA..I saw Sky fans clowning Caitlin Clark because her 30 point came v the worst team in the league that everybody beats. So how do you feel about Reese only getting ten..and losing to a team everybody beats? Lesson..every game is different and even bad teams have good players lol.

But the fans seem to like the downplay the accomplishments of the player they don’t like and then compliment the player they do like..and both are doing the same things. Nobody says you can’t like both. I just remember after Clark got 30 v Washington..the narrative was….oh she did that v the worst team in the league. Yet the sky have lost to both Indiana and Washington who have six wins combined and Reese didn’t score 30 in both games combined.
The bottom line is CC won nothing no championships under her belt game over and she’s being hyped up and we all know why

I hate watching offensive players drive to the basket and DIVE into the defender to get a foul call. It isn't the game, it's a quirk of the rules and it ought to be stopped.
Both Reese and Cardoso are great draft picks. The Sky was off tonight. They played sloppily, confused, and weren't a cohesive unit. For the poster who remarked that the Sky needs CC. While CC is also a good player as are Reese and Cardoso. I beg to differ that the Sky needs CC. If you look at the Eastern Conference ranking the Sky is 8th but the Fever is 10th. Looks like the Fever needs Reese and Cardoso.
What if all the rookies were on one team 🔥they honestly giving wnba all-star team that work and would be most viewed W team😂 old hags might finally realize who we came to see.

There is talent on this team. Something is wrong, either with their defensive scheme or possibly, the team chemistry. They play horrible team defense. I’m starting to feel like I’m watching girls who resent each other or something of that nature.

Actually this was a winnable game for the mystics ,they clearly have the talent ,after some close game losses,it's seems the pieces are falling into place ,well done to them .
Reese and cordozo need to learn to shoot. They just big for nothing down there clogging up the paint. In the way. Both just want the ball right underneath the basket. This team so trash 😂

The two biggest problems with the Sky are: 1. Lack of offensive set plays and 2. Proper defensive rotations. Too many players out of position on defense resulting in easy backdoor layups for the Mystics. I think Chicago having two rookie players and a rookie coach doesn't help. I'm not a fan of former players becoming head coaches without first learning from being an assistant coach on the staff of a successful head. I understand they don't have alot of time to practice between games this season so I'll give them a break. I expect much improvement from the coaching staff during the off season. If there's no improvement next year a coaching change might be needed.
Again, turnovers and low outside shooting for Sky. They need more shots from beyond the arc if they want to make Reese and Cardosso effective in the paint. But give the Mystics credit, they worked hard.

Some of you say how terrible a player Reese is but you're following her every game, every move. Sounds like you you know she's a threat and its not her game that you have an issue with. You dislike her for other reasons. That's your right. Everyone gets to pick who their favorite and least players are but at least be honest with yourself about why you dislike her because you really aren't fooling anyone when you say she can't play because its so obvious that she:s a baller.

Like Chicago has a new coach, owners, 2 rookies, and everyone else is new only vets are like 2 ppl. It's like pistons or the rockets 2yrs ago. An the best vet's are on the aces, mercury, sun, seattle, lynx, liberty and wings who are still new . The rest of the teams are simple not that good or just not consistent like the sparks, sky who lose because there young mistakes or they beat themselves on fouls and rebounds however seems both teams already have good chemistry. But match ups also matter in the w to me or your gonna watch most points coming from the foul line missed wide open shots and just bad coaching. An to me I think the fever would be better if the played like Denver in the sense make cc jamal murray and aliay boston a jockic/magic type. Instead of force feeding and it takeaway from the chemistry because they were better last year. Like i was watching seattle vs dallas crazy wrk Neeka and skylar was giving or the sun vs the fever carraignton was stripping cc like know tomorrow and was playing defense from start to finish.

This team is in need of a shooter/ ball handler. There’s no spacing, so many sloppy passes from Mabrey & Dana. Chennedy is their best offensive player but she doesn’t shoot either and everyone is in the paint clogging up the lanes from her. They need to get out to an earlier start also they seemed confused on the defensive end and they gambled to many failed steal attempts. I know coach Spoon is new but the play calling and ball movement is none existent they are playing iso ball. One more thing HIT SOME DAMN FREE THROWS!!
Chicago guards are average players and they never passed the ball
3 losses in a row. This team is racing to the bottom of the league. Guess they need to draft better players.

You’re right, but this has been happening. I noticed it a few games ago. The Sky should be trying to penetrate and get it to Cordova and Reese. This will get opponents in foul trouble and it will open up our three point opportunities.

Yeah, those guards are just running up court shooting or driving with nobody on offense. They also suck on defense because Cardoso should not be running to the top of the key trying to block a 3-point shooter.
