Patch 9.1 | Distracting Mirage Tricks (New Honor Talent) | SL Rogue PvP Guide

This is a small Rogue guide showcasing some cool tricks you can do with the new honor talent Distracting Mirage. Distract in itself is a very interesting ability, but patch 9.1 made it one of the most fun in the game. This guide was made to inspire. The tricks showcased are situational.

Nice video, i have used distract pvp talent before in 9.1 and i switch back to the normal pvp talent, Hmm i should change back to distract again. :) (i think i used distract in wrong way :/ )

I wonder if enemy players see the mirage as a player or a pet.

Neither of them! From my own experience, the mirage is simply a visual clone of the rogue which chases targets and appears to attack them. It doesn't display a name or health bar and can't be interacted with. However, a lot of players are still not accustomed to the talent and get spooked by the mirage. I've seen enemies pop defensives/CDs and try attack the clone as a result.

I saw a video that said this could only be used on targets out of combat, is that not true?

Yes, you can only distract players who are out of combat.

is kyrian better then venthyr ??

Both are top tier for Subtlety, but I'm personally loving Kyrian for the new legendary. You can play either and get good results, but Kyrian is my personal favourite.
