Thank you so much for this video. I'm having such a hard time teaching my young son how to hold a pencil correctly. I will look for the pencil grip because I think that will help drastically.
I am a artist And quilter. I am always watching youtube videos. I love learning, I watch some artist holding the pencils so incorrectly and I just want to correct them it's kinda painful to watch. It seems like they were never taught how to hold their pencil correctly. When I went to school back in the early 60's in Brooklyn we were taught penninship I went to Catholic School the Nuns were very strict, I remember having to practicing writing the alphabet in between the 3 lines. Today our children are not being taught how to do cursive writing. I wouldn't how will they be able to write a check or sign their names? But I think your making a great video
Oh my! Searched for this so I can teach my 3 yo daughter. But I discovered I was holding the pen wrong the whole time, that's why my fingers hurt so fast. I'm 32 years old btw. :p Thanks for this!
Thank you!! Omg how am I just now finding you lol i am so motivated to do this with my youngest. A bit late but starting nonetheless. Again thank you!!
It's also good to learn so you can be taken seriously as an adult. I can't tell you how many adults I see on RUclips videos who hold their pens like a 3 year old.
Thank you for your video, I was looking for the link on where to purchase the rubber grip but couldn't find it. Could you kindly forward the link. With many thanks
My niece can hold A Pencil, crayon and marker when she wants to. If I say we are doing crafts or give her color pages she does it. As soon as I pull out homework packet she acts like she has never seen a writing utensil in her life. AND She drew A’s all over her dresser so she can do it. SHE ALSO DID Cs for her last name. But the homework shuts her down. I am firm about yes you can but my husband is allowing her to pass on doing this and basically does the homework for her we’ve had custody for a short time of her but she has lived with us. Basically her whole life minus maybe 2 to 3 months at different times if you add it up….she can work an iPhone better than me but refuses to do her schoolwork and I feel like this is BS she wants her phone the moment she comes home from school and acts like she can’t function without it. I don’t know what to do anymore.

You only have to take that iphone out for like a month or two till she forgets about it. It's not hard, it's just consistency
Many many thanks sis
