yes your correct I took perfect for 24 hours. It made me itch so badly, I was still in so much pain, I switched to 800 mg of ibuprofen an 400mg of /tylenol along with antibiotic. I feel 100 percent better.

Thanku for all your helpful tips I had my breast augmentation three weeks ago and my incision opened during the first week and he just decided to stitch it up five days ago due to it wouldn’t heal on its own I haven’t been told to massage although doctor has asked me to start stretching my arms slowly I’ve been very careful have no idea how my incision opened. As someone who’s smoked for 17yrs and had over 40 surgeries, and I can hand on heart tell you an infection only happens if the surgeons done something wrong or the after care isn’t done properly, smoking doesn’t increase the chances of an infection it causes slower healing!
Or, it could be a good opportunity for someone to quit smoking since it's a very unhealthy habit for the smoker & everyone around them (especially children).

I managed to stop 12 hours before surgery at least but when I went in they basically just questioned me about the fact that I vape and don’t smoke cigarettes. The nurse gave me a hard look after the question letting me know that a truthful answer was important here. I was honest and said I cut down but didn’t quit but haven’t had any for the last 12 hours. No actual cigarettes in a long time though. She seemed satisfied and everything went fine. I’m about 5 days post op and started vaping again right away but have been taking it easy. My body doesn’t seem overly receptive of unhealthy things at the moment lol I know your question was 6 months ago but figured I’d answer anyway for anyone else who might be wondering. I stressed myself out a LOT before surgery worrying about it.
Nicotine constructs blood vessels if you had the operation through your nipple they can lose blood flow developing necrosis and turn black and die. Research it 😊
What are you supposed to do if you have toddlers that need to be picked up (stay at home mom) that weigh between 20-30lbs? Can probably get help for the first few days but not 3 weeks....
Hun I got my breast augmentation 11 days ago and since the surgery day I have had a nanny for my toddler son that weighs 20-30 lbs and I am still not able to lift him I don’t even try because I can tell it would mess up my breasts, I can’t even raise my arms, this surgery is no joke you will have to figure out someone to take care of your child for at least 2 weeks, or help from husband/boyfriend or family members, for 2 weeks you will need help just putting on clothes and getting out of bed. After 2 weeks open your toddlers crib turn it into a bed and figure out how to never pick them up for few weeks and make them walk and get inside the bathtub and how to get out of bathtub when you wash them slowly without raising your arms and how to make them do things like getting inside their stroller and car and car seat, my 2 year old does all this by himself as I watch him.

I took pain killers for the first two days and one last night because I guess I was doing to much . I assume an implant will hurt more. As it relates to my toddler I showed her my scars and told her mommy is sick ect. So she understand I CANT lift her .

I think forever, I saw a few other video of a different doctors talking about capsular contracture on patients after 7 years due to infection in the blood stream due to dental appointments or piercings.

My question is can I replace my above the muscle implants to under the muscle implants and have the breast lift at the same time? I enjoy your videos.

Hey there! I had my first BA with saline implants in 2008 and, like you, needed a lift because of my right breast. I had a lift and switched the saline out for Mentor silicone and I’m going through the healing process now. So far, so good!
I am 4 weeks post op lift/augmentation and my stitches were just removed, but it left a little surface opening. The doctor said it will heal and close on its own. Is this correct? I bought some closure strips to try and help it.
@@suzen5902 Yes I am now 8 months post op and they now look beautiful. The look deformed because they still have to drop in place, and all of our bodies are different. My swelling went down around 4-6 weeks post op. Just give it body time, as I'm happy I did. On fyi my right side still have a bit more to drop but the left is Perfect!

The first 3 days were the hardest I stopped my pain meds on day 4 and I’m basically back to normal life cleaning and lifting and can wash my hair on my own comfortably and my boobs are already dropping! Every day they look better and the scars are getting better too, how are you doing?

Jennyblake Blake they have something called care credit. It’s a credit card you can apply for and make monthly payments for your surgery. I’m so sorry you feel this way and so unconfident. I just had my surgery and my breasts have always been a huge insecurity of mine as well and feeling like shit as a woman. I hope this info helps a little. I see a woman struggling saying she wants to end her life over something that I have also struggled with confidence wise and I had to say something that could at least show her she may be able to afford the procedure to give her a little bit of confidence back to put her in a better head space. But I’m not stupid and I know it has to start with loving yourself first. No one had even bothered to reply to the comment yet and I couldn’t just not say anything to her but I’m not a damn therapist sooooo yeah

chelsea matey I showered 24 hours after , my surgeon said to shower everyday and keep the incision clean and the pain was completely gone at day 4 !!

I thought I still wasn’t aloud to take Advil, I rather that then the Tylenol Percocet, thanks!
I’m also on methadone maintenance for drug addiction so the Percocet didn’t really help!
