Waited all day for the wind to ease, then 5 gliders flew. One made it down the Mallerstang valley and others managed up to 2000ft ATO. Pretty smooth air and good thermals. Massive wind gradient very close to the ground on top landing which stalled me and I dropped a wing just a fraction of a second before I was about to flare - no harm done, but took me by surprise.
