Owning 1.0 Style AT, did 6000km drive across India a couple of months back with full packed Owned Rapid 1.6 TDI MT before it for 10 years, so have a bit of experience with Skoda Brand. Best thing I like with car is Ground Clearance, across 6000km it never touched with full loaded car. 🤘🤘 Power wise I never felt it was missing something, as soon as I put acceleration it flies. For more fun put in S and it is a fun. Liked the vehicle.

Always please Go for AT for any 3 cylinder engine, because the vibration is disturbing, since vibration gets transferred to the legs everytime you push the clutch while changing the gears. Otherwise best bet is go for 4cylinder engine if you want to go for manual shift, and this very smooth and refined, Absolutely not like a 3 cylinder engine.
I don't have any preferences like sedan or compact suv. So if I ask you I want to travel with my family consider like 5 members and filling the bootspace with luggage completely, in that case should I go for 1.0 or 1.5? What would you suggest
If u have money go for 1.5 Else on a tight budget 1.0 For legal Indian speeds 1.0 is more than enough. 1.5 does have cylinder deactivation etc so while crusing u will get better mileage. But u are already paying a premium on the cost difference.

Many said that its plastic quality in cabin is compromised and after few months it starts rattling, is it true? And if the use is occasional, for most of city and occasional highway driving, what will be better , automatic or manual?
I own a Slavia 1.5L for 2 months now and I have not faced any rattling issues. The interior quality is very good, but definitely not what Skoda used to offer earlier, but still satisfactory. For mostly city commute I will recommend an automatic. Before this I was driving a manual car and believe me an automatic gearbox is a big blessing. Hope this helps.
Aayush , you mentioned about Recall for AC issues for Slavia .. can you elaborate on this coz I’ve not been informed about this recall by service centre , Bought Slavia a month ago & my 1.0 Manual variant have AC issues , have complaint about it many times , taken to service centre but issue is still there .
In my opinion, Virtus 1.0 AT Highline is a preferred buy. No essential sunroof, 4 addl airbags as such we need if not moving much on highways Andre importantly the beautiful cream colored interior than the cheap black n biege in Topline or Skoda Style. What do you think?

Hi Aayush, can you please test if closing side mirrors increase the mileage while running at speed of around 120KMPH? I know this request does not make sense, but better to know how much it has impact on mileage because at higher speed the mileage drops.
It depends on your requirement.. l have nsr but you get it in manual mode only. I Was ok since my drive is mainly highways. I was particular about led projector light. So went for nsr.

And on style model non sunroof add features automatic irvm , ventilated seats , headlight and alloy update on 1.5 lac so my suggestion is to go with sunroof and add 40,000 on style top manual you will get also digital metre and sunroof , 6 airbags , . I bought ambition because I can't pay 2lac for ventilated sets, auto irvm , digital displays, diamond cut alloys ,

Sure, firstly Honda may exit the Indian market soon as per reports since they aren’t doing well in the Indian market. The sheet metal quality of Skoda Slavia and the overall safety is much better when compared with city. The steering feel and feedback in the Slavia inspires much more confidence. Stiff suspension keeps the car planted and stable at high speeds, overall design and interiors are much more appealing. Road presence is better. The infotainment system is better. As far as the engine performance is concerned 1.0 TSI is at par in terms with performance when compared to 1.5 ivtect in the city although the engine in the city is refined when compared to Slavia’s. I’d suggest you to test drive both the cars before deciding.

@@ketan11001 bro i think you are talking about the engine vibration.. the biggest problem in 3 cylinder cars... to prevent this, drive at a little higher rpm or change gears at higher rpm..
I am totally confused between Honda City Vx and Slavia Ambition. Honda has a better engine, with better interior quality, and reliability but low ground clearance. Slavia has a better appearance and ground clearance but engine and sitting for 5 persons is an issue along with interior quality. @Aayush ssm please reply
Both of them are very similar. Skoda looks more premium and Virtus has a more sporty look. So it is up to your preference. But since Virtus came a few months later , they have definitely improved few things in Virtus. e.g - Suspension is better. But in daily commute you will not feel much difference. I personally own a Slavia 1.5L and it has been an amazing experience.

Speed of 120 is still not like flying aircraft where u need perfect aerodynamics...both side mirrors drag surface area is not more than few sq. Inches

Yes bro, sometimes rattling (engine weird sound) noise get in 1st and 2nd gear.
