Yep, my laptop is a bit away from my laser so it's not easy for me to do that but certainly one way of doing it. I always forget to put the speed back and kick my self the next time I frame something
No it’s quite different, you have to slice up your designs individually when making large cuts. Quite a bit more involved. Also you have to ensure your red dot is actually where your laser cuts. This can be tricky
I noticed that when you were making selections to engrave you missed the outer edging of the first E...figured you would have caught that before final burn but the finish sign didn't have the edging. So could you use the same steps to place the sign in and engrave the missed lines? Use the print & cut feature to align the wood back up and engrave the missing sections? Great information greatly appreciate the info.
Yes, you can use the print and cut feature to line up the wood again and engrave the missed lines. as long as you didn't remove the targets before you noticed it. Other ways would be to put your design in absolute coordinates use the laser position tool to goto a know corner of a letter and engrave the missing piece. That's exactly what I did in this case! good eye!
I have been thinking about trying this out as I use a Bolt which limits larger projects. Would it be possible to flip the piece since I only have a front pass through?
I like the jog function in P&C. Then make final adjustments for that 2nd target. Good stuff. Thanks,

Very informative. Thank you. Would the process be basically the same if cutting a large piece?

Ok. I believe I understand. Thank you Robert

When you set your targets on the bottom did you hit origin again on the controller for the bottom
No when you drive the laser head to each target and selecting those in LightBurn that is setting your origin. It works just what’s in the video

Yes it would be possible but a little tricky because you're flipping only half the design.
