Never heard of them. Bought tickets to see Health in March and they're on the bill. Looked them up, watched this and now I'm even more excited to go. These guys are sick!
yes there so much to tell. from the melodic path chosen to the hybrid instrumentations, to the insane charisma of the singer. Almost cried. They re as good as Nitzer Ebb or Depeche Mode in the good o days. But I dont want to do comparisons. They are such innovative in their own right. very deep art.
Been listening to electronic music since the early 80's and you guys are really fucking good. Such intelligent music, which is rare these days. Sounds like you guys create some of your own sounds rather than just using the pre programmed stuff, that's how Juan Atkins says it should be done, and I agree. Anyways excellent composition in your stuff. Thank you.
Like this performance, in the future all their recordings should be live takes. There’s a power and rawness that’s lost in their overly produced studio releases that is thrilling when they play live.
Brings me back to more like 78-79 when Siouxsie came out with Join Hands. Stabbing vocals in a dark sonic aura. Guitars in that era replaced with Moog Little Phatty and Novation Ultranova synths here. Same as those times with high gas prices and a lot to be pissed off about! Loving this band!
@@schattenheim Juju, classic for sure, i agree, that was the best of her early career. It's exciting to see a fresh new band like Pixel Grip bring it like they are now, will be fascinating to see how they evolve over the next few years.
