Nothing shuts down in the winter in Klamath County😂💖💖
Hwy 97 is the most dangerous road in Oregon...Many fatalities yearly. Winter, summer, doesn't matter...many speeding drivers. KFalls...a yawner of a town, actually an armpit. Chemult has some of the highest snowfall in Oregon. Bend is pretty neat, Sisters is even cooler.

Wow, never realized how long ago you started doing video, Russ. I just purchased land in the mountains outside of Bonanza OR and will be slowly building my off-grid cabin in the woods and doing a little RVing in the winter months to AZ. Take care and hope to meet you one day, Mike

Love that area some of the best snow skiing we ever did was there at Mt Bachelor in Bend and Timberline Lodge! Such a fun trip Russ!
Bend is kind of a wealthy playground for many. Many Calif peeps moved north and settled in. My friend owns a second home in Bend and we call it "hard body land" due to the amt. of beautiful wimmen running around. lol
Nice drive down 97. 90 degrees in Bend is warm for that area but I will trade you. 103 at my house and 107 down the hill in Sacramento. FYI I got my Antlers last night so I am a full fledged Elks member now. Thanks for your help and sponsorship Russ. Give Scoobs a milk bone and a hug for me, you two take care and enjoy your adventure. Looking forward too the videos of Bend, I am sure it has grown a lot since the last time I was there.
Hwy #97 starts in Weed, CA and crosses the US/Canada border into BC. It ends at Mile "0" AK Hwy Dawson Creek, BC. Thanks for your great videos Russ. I check every day. Lorne
Enjoy your visit to Bend, Oregon. I live about I/4 mile from the Elks lodge. Spend a few days in the area and check it out. Bend has lots of Brew Pubs with great Pub Grub.

You missed Crater Lake. We stopped there in July 2003 and there was snow on the ground! BRRR It was 100 in Medford the next day.
