    You can access Mooresville via route 115. It runs parallel with 77. Cool/scenic drive too.

    Great Job. Sounds like a place for family, work, lake , and good people place mix....
    I love the geographic location to the hills and route I26 to the mountains and best of all Great weather not too hot and not to freezing .....

    i grew up in Mooresville, NC. Loved it. Now looking to move back. 77 is not the only way , try highway 115 or 21

    is this a good area for a black family?

      My family is mixed race black and white and we live in 28117. There is definitely racism but not all the way bad I guess, there are a lot of indians moving in and they keep to themselves. For the most part we feel comfortable but you will sometimes get those awkward stares from white people. My neighbors are Mexican and they deal with racism as well over here but you start to ignore it after a while. Pretty sure its much worst in South Carolina. I also see a good amount of black people around as well but the reality is racism still exists and you will get some of it over here.
