In this episode I take the BUDGET Camp trailer out for its first camp trip, As well as the new patrol & my son!! We tackle some tracks out at Kenilworth and Charlie Moreland in the Patrols to test out the new rigs!

Charlie Moreland tracks are some of my fav. Hit them up a few times after the past couple of years.

Hot tip for the spuds in the fire, wrap them so they’re about 4 layers of alfoil thick, uses heaps of foil but they turn out way better haha
Great vid, we recently took our No.5 from Melbourne to Darwin and back and everywhere in between 12000kms no issues, a similar set up, quick and fast with the misses and my son.
My dude, a tip for the potato's: Wait for the flames to die off, if you add them while the flames are still going it burns the foil and the skin. Next time try and chuck em on the coals only. Also double wrap the foil for a longer cook time, allows the inside it cook through without burning the outside. Chuck a small onion in there with the potato's flipping delicious!

Not too sure exactly what it’s called but on my camper trailer the hitch has like c shape on the car side and goes into a rubber block. It’s the best to tow with no noise and it has full articulation aswell which is great for off-road.
Pretty sure that’s a Treg Hitch bro. Had one on my old camper. 👍
