Man, that yellow XD brings back memories! I chopped and rolled the rear quarters for a rear bumper install on a brand new one back in '96 for the owner of Phoenix Gold. Ahh, the memories of LRNA's golden age. Was living in Portland, Or, at the time, and these things were flying out of the dealership. (And into their service bay LOL!!) Talking about pretentious........The under powered hour...... HaHaHaHa!!
Wow the workshop is really coming together, the TV is a great new addition ideal for editing the videos. You just need to add a good sound around system 🤣 The fab area is really coming together as well, great idea of repurposing the metal cladding on the inside walls, hopefully this will help to contain the crap and sparks from the plasma table, the wall extractor fan should also help to keep the dust and fumes out of the fab / workshop area. Keep up the great work. Look forward to seeing the next video. 😎👍
Thanks for all the kind words. We have the same thoughts on the metal around the plasma, I’d hate to light a sheet of wood up and have all the work down the drain, low chance, but never zero.
That's a good idea. Handy to have it available to scroll right on the tablet. It would be nice to pull some schematics up and have them big in front of you on the TV.
This is a 2010. It’s hard to beat a good plasma, it looks like garbage through the camera in this video, but I love the picture, refresh rate and viewing angle of them.
I think there was another company looking into it, since ACE seems to be mia. I should reach back out to them and see if they got any further. But yes, could get some of the adapter kit done with the plasma, some would have to be done with a mill. I have a few things in mind for that toy once it’s dialed in.

I have a dell optiplex mini pc I can send you. It will be without a hard drive so you can just swap it out with yours and maybe just upgrade the RAM too. I have one and it’s great for space savings.
It will be ready to go soon. It got cold and snowy shortly after the chains were completed so I parked it haha. I’m going to put a few miles on it in the next coming weeks
I love when you post new videos. I've learned that the trick is having enough land rovers that you have at least one running at all times.
I live by that philosophy as well. Way less stressful to own if you can just use a different one haha.

I like the permanent mount idea better. if you do mount it to the table, use a quick release pin so you can take it off to make it easier to move.
That's not a terrible idea either. But yeah, I think I'm just going to mount it to the wall. I'll be happier with it there.
As usual excellent
As always I appreciate you following along!
Did I just watch a mechanic say he doesn't like to get his hands dirty?? 🤔😂
Anyway, the shop is looking great! 👌
Yeah isn’t that something? I mean I will, but I don’t like to. Haha.

@@LostCauseRanch Hi Joe, All joking apart, treat yourself to a good few Fire Extinguishers. Keep up the great work.🍻😎👍
Great video and great job on the shop for a solo artist
i like the tv idea. when i do a lot of rebuilds i have the manual in a pdf on a tablet.

@@LostCauseRanch @420jahlion: Agree, this is a great idea! Never thought to add this to a garage for this purpose! Thanks for sharing!
Holy crap! I have that same TV. Bought it in 2009. It's oder then my kid and it weighs a ton.
Too funny! Yes the thing is a tank. Still looks good though and I enjoy the picture from a plasma.
@@LostCauseRanch Superior picture quality for sure.
I still use a 2009 Panasonic plasma in my house. I love it. I'll be bummed when it croaks. No longer made.

@@LostCauseRanch They were miles ahead of LCD at the time.
Something to think about..use the plasma to do a D2 to LS kit like ACE engineering..

hey one can never have to many rovers, just the place to park them is the issue....Takes time to put things together in a new place
I agree, wish I had more covered storage. Someday. Definitely a labor of love on the shop.
@@LostCauseRanch same when we move and I have permission as long as it not look like a junk yard
That's awesome, the new extra space you'll have will be well loved I'm sure.

I appreciate that offer! I’ll get this one fired up and see how it is and let you know. It has been many years since it’s been powered on.
I thought Merlin (LR4) was going to a new home? If not, how about swapping an ‘11 RRSSC with bad tensioners;-)

If you’d like to see some pics of the subject ‘11 RRS-SC HSE let me know the best way to send them.
