Love the fact Cackling Jack has his own podcast but I love more that Hamish has taken the time to be a part of it, cudos. The thing that I’ve always enjoyed about Hamish&Andy is that their humour is not only natural but also not cruel. Shame Andy wasn’t part of this.
@@BlackSlimShady what I mean is Hamish and Andy themselves don’t own the rights. So they can’t just release it. Podcast 1 chooses to just release these pieces instead of the whole thing. Maybe they get more clicks and so more $$ with just short clips compared to someone watching the whole thing.
@@tjd.4589 no it's true you make more money the more videos you put out, which is why most podcasts have highlight channels as well. That's what I think podcast one should do though, they should release full video episodes and then have separate highlight clips for people who don't feel like watching the full thing. That's basically the standard for youtube podcasts these days... Maybe podcast one doesn't fully own the monetization from their youtube channel? That's the only reason I can think of
Really really appreciate the honest convo around work experience and having a crap job. My sibling experienced all the benefits of nepotism and is utterly awful to lower staff now. Has no idea about how the world works. And because I worked a job for 5 years for less than $10 an hour, plus many many more shit jobs I feel like I can just spot those people who have no idea from a mile off. It’s incredibly frustrating. Everyone should know what it’s like to be at the bottom of the food chain. Also, I will say, I think a lot of gen z are a lot more interested in work experience than older gens. My little sister (different sibling) is very interested in doing some form of music production or audio engineering and applied to multiple studios and radio stations for her work experience. And when we pointed out to her that she wouldn’t have that hands on experience at the actual job she said “yeah but every job has boring stuff, and if I like or can tolerate that stuff, then I’ll probably like the fun stuff” and I thought that was very wise. 😊
The whole point of the podcast is that Jack writes a song each week about the lyrics are inspired by some content from the podcast. This week's one was called "The work experience song". Really not sure why the song wasn't included at the end??!
28 dollars an hour for hard labour on work experience must be very nice hamish being so out of touch with the common man. I was a first year apprentice earning 11 dollars an hour
Amazing what great convos the boys can have when not being exposed to Andy’s ciggy breathe
Wtf?Andy smokes?,????? How cool.
His own podcast?.....must be nice.
Must be very very nice
Ahahahaha
Ok
He has not felt the touch of the common man for many years past
There are few greater pleasures in life than listening to a Hamish Blake analogy :)

Why don't you film the Hamish and Andy podcast too!?
They do. But they don’t own the rights to it. I believe Podcast one does. That’s why it is only released in pieces.

@@BlackSlimShady then I’ve got nothing. Don’t know why Podcast1 doesn’t release the video.

Oh man I got excited when Hamish started listing off punk bands only to stop at two haha.
Hamish is looking ripped?
No soft lapel bazooms here!
He got sick of Andy wanting to feel his moobs.
Why has this podcast been idle for nearly a year? Good content on it

Slowly losing touch with the common man getting his own podcast
We had a work experience girl at GB who was "passionate about radio"... she brought a book and started reading it in call vetting 🤦♂️
From 32:18
"Bunk Pands" haha 2:30
what songs were they talking about at the end?

What wait wait wait.... this is a thing

Photos of the hoodie going up on my Instagram now... sadly I have misplaced it for the time being and won't be able to wear it until it resurfaces

@@jackpost364 just staying in touch with the common channels
Hamish appearing on this as a hobby. Hope he has to write and perform an apology song.
Never realised Hamish liked shooting, no other reason he'd flash those guns around!
It's good to hear you speak Jack your very clever.

Good on you for misinterpreting what he said. What do you earn now qualified?
That's not what he said hahah.
Very short sleeves
Fon-dont?? Maybe it's the QLDer in me, but this sounds overly posh.
$28 an hour for a shitty job? You've lost touch with the common man Ham. my first year as an apprentice carpenter I was making $8 an hour
Air BnB huh?? Someones lost touch with the common man...
This guy would go to the opening of a door. About as funny as a smelly turd in a toilet.
30 mins in and still talking about his kids. Bored now.
