Thank you so much! I actually work for ahsley as a sales associate. It’s amazing to se how they actually turn out in peoples homes. We have had the carnaby on our floor for about 6 years now. P.S. the cotton fill around the foam is to stop the inside of the bag (cushion cover) from tuning the foam to dust due to friction, they actually have a lifespan of about 25,000 uses.

I'm glad to see yours is holding up. I just bought it and cushions flattening was the main complaint I read in the reviews.
I also agree with your 5ish year lifespan estimate, but it could also boil down to quality control which is why some people have issues. I used to sell furniture at a different company and I know the trend is selling "disposable" furniture made cheaply overseas.
Ashley physical locations are franchised, but the Ashley website is corporate. I hear you can haggle down from the price they tell you at the store about an additional 25 percent. All "sales" are BS. You can never go in the store where there isn't a fake sale going on. This applies to nearly every furniture store in existence.
I told my salesperson that the website offered the sofa for cheaper, and the "orange rewards" for using their financing offered an additional 10 percent off the first Tuesday of every month, but I'd prefer to buy it now. They immediately dropped the price to "save" the sale and did not require me to finance it. Next, I will need to call in and threaten to cancel for some reason so they can "save" it again with another discount. That is how the furniture game is played, and they will lie to you to squeeze out as many pennies as they can. When I initially asked for the final price I was told it was hundreds of dollars more expensive, all the while pretending to be my friend. Haggling effectiveness may vary depending on location and how a specific store is structured, but the price you can get it for is surely less than the price they will try to sell it to you.
If you don't like haggling go to Bob's discount furniture. Everything there is final price what you see on the tag.

Hey there! I got the coffee table from “Offer Up”, so second hand. I think it may have came from Wayfair
it definitely last with kids! my son is 1 he was sick and threw up on the chaise portion. I took the cover off and washed it normal cold water and put it in the dryer! ZERO STAINS and fabric feels softer too!

Hey, did you spray your sofa with any protective spray when you first got it?
@@ashley-rc2vj no I didn’t but they did provide me with some cleaning products. There are some products that you can apply to it to make it “stain resistant” but I just pop it in the washer and it’s still going strong
Beautiful home and couch. My mom just bought the slightly smaller version of this exact couch with the chaise. Being poor most of her life, she saved heavy for retirement!! she wanted it so bad, fell in love with it at the store, but was so scared to buy it (she has never spent $2.7k on one thing outside of bills) but I reminded her that’s what all her struggles/saving up was for. She so excited for it to come. I haven’t seen her so happy about a purchase such as this. I showed her your beautiful video to hype her up even more! So thank you for showing 🤎🤎

Honestly, I’ve heard mixed/bad reviews on the cloud Couch and a few of the dupes. I’m not sure if it will be worth the money.
The couch I have isn’t close to the white color, but it is bright and light enough! (I was thinking white couch too at one point). If your space has a lot of sunshine, it’s really going to make your space pop!!

I love my Ashley sectional... I have had the Bovarian stone sectional for two and a half years and it is holding up beautifully... Definitely the best seat in my house... I'm team NO KIDS too! Lol

I got my coffee table second hand, I do believe WAYFAIR has something similar. (Brown or wood coffee tables)
Ashley has some really good furniture. I have the Darcy couch and I’m upgrading next year. Nothing is wrong with the couch and I’ve had it about 3 years now. I may keep it and just put it in another room.
They have really great furniture!! And something for all price ranges! I’m going to check out your couch and see what it looks like! If it’s not bad, keep it or try to sell!!!
I said we’ll probably get a new couch in 4-5 more years! It’s my first time having a sectional and I LOVE IT!!! But I am a traditional girl! 😘
@@LivingLikeMary you’re right. I may keep it after all, but I really like sectionals so that’s what I want to try next. Their sofas are good quality though so selling it is an option too.
I have the Darcy too for 10 years now (sleeper, love seat and ottoman) and it’s held up so good. The carnaby is my next set!

I have been looking for a new sectional and this one is perfect!!! The only thing I don’t like is the light color. I hope it comes in a blue or gray color. When my grand kids come over, they are pigs!!! What I do like about it
1- perfect size for my place
2- removable back pillows
3- cushions that can be turned over
Even though I know they aren’t telling us to was the fabric by machine, I know it can be done for big cleaning jobs. When I finally purchase this sectional, I am unfortunately going to date myself because I was arm covers on it so they don’t get dirty. I just have to get them made in a modern form where they aren’t noticeable.
Lol, it’s OK to protect your sofa! I know them grandkids are gone be grandkids lol! I honestly don’t think this particular sectional comes in any other color, but I’m not sure if Ashley can customize it. I hope you enjoy whatever it is you decide to get. ❤️😂

Only because this sectional was so expensive we did get the protection plan, but no, we have not had to use it at all and I regret it!

i also have this sectional but the 4 seater for now, ive had mines for may 6 to 7 months and i dont like that the pillows went flat and also when we sit we do sink in and we are short people and only weight 150 max lol but other then that i hope it last us longer then what you said we do keep it super clean in th living room area .
but other then that it s a good looking sectional .

And yes it started at like the second month we had it and we only had it for like 6 months or so and the pillows look horrible 😞 they are flat and I had to take out 4 and use the filling to fill the rest in…I do love he color and the texture and we have 2 dogs and it’s still super clean . We got it for Labor Day so we got a good deal for it but right now it’s like close to 4,000 ! That’s insane !
Why is it that when you opened the part with the padding I could see light flicker off of it? It looked like glitter but could be fiberglass?

Muy bonitos pero el servicio al costumer orible las entregas de lo peor y te venden lo q no tiene te prometen el cielo y terminas en el infierno con ellos son muy poco profecional y no les importan los clientes solo la venta y luego meses de espera por las cosas aparte q te mandan lo q no es solo para haser tiempo no se los recomiendo a nadie si quieres parar frustrado comprales a ellos y te acordaras de este mensaje

We are looking to get one of these - I am in canada but the guy at the store said Ashley's doesn't give discounts on their products but I've heard other things from a friend who bought a sectional from Ashley's. I've never known furniture stores to NOT give a discount off the tag price. Can you share if you were able to get a better deal than the sticker price? They say that it never goes on sale which I also find tough to believe too, when they brought their sales manager over he made the whole experience real awkward and we wanted to leave immediately. Any help or suggestions is appreciated!! Thanks for the detailed video :)

Nice video, we are looking at that couch and putting in the configuration you have it, but we need the dimensions across the back. Would you be able to provide us how wide the couch is along the long side on the back of the couch? The website includes dimensions for the widest point, which includes the flair on the arm, but I need across the back, without the flair. Thank you so much!

It doesn’t pill AT ALL! I would say the material it’s more firm/tight/rough. But soft.

Yes, there are two metal latches on EACH side.. you are going to lift one piece and slide it down to attach it to the other piece!
