My Min Pin is an awesome companion, he understands everything we say. I rescued him six years ago, he was dirty , hungary and in need of some desperate TLC. I named my pup BUDDY .

You are an excellent dog trainer! I suspect starting young, using behavior chaining and positive reinforcement. I love my Min Pin, but he doesn’t have that repertoire of tricks. I love the “bang” performance!
Man this reminds me so much of my little girl min pin, well she’s not little anymore. She is 12 years old and has had diabetes for the past two years. She is overweight and has one eye removed ands he cannot see at all out of the other eye. Oh and she is going deaf now too. I miss the days when I could play with her like this, but no matter how old or disabled she becomes, she will always be my sweet little baby girl!

They are really hyper and dart. They need lots of protection and play. Most beautiful breed and I love their energy bc I’m hyper too. Keeps me really active and my dog is my life.

My min pin is obsessed with her tiny tennis ball. Stakes it every where! Bounces it and catches. Has made up numerous games with it. Plays with it on the stairs like a slinky. I could write a book on all the things she does with it.
I miss Bunny so MUCH!! We had to put her down a few months ago. - Gawd I loved her and miss her. She was so regal.

I have a red min pin, she is excellent at alerting me of any intruders and is also incredibly intelligent, robust and a great vermin exterminator. She is over 10 yet still displays the same vigour and energy that she had when she was younger, a real courageous, loyal and unstoppable pocket dynamo.

Awesome! Wish we had our rescues since they were pups, I am sure I could have gotten Memphis to do that. Except 'Fetch, stay.... then go get it at your command. No way! Haha Great job on that one! :) Hard to hold back a Minpin. they want to own that ball! haha.

Smart dog! Your husband is an excellent trainer. Those are a lot of tricks. My cat Skittles thinks she is a Dog! I have a playlist with her, and three of the videos are of her fetching the ball.

Gio loves to play fetch. Apart from using treats to reinforce tricks, we throw him the tennis ball every time he does a trick right (In the "stand" trick, my brother is holding the tennis ball which he is waiting for to be thrown). I like being outdoors and throwing him the ball, so its a win-win situation :)

Fun fact Miniature (Zwerg) Pinschers are one of the healthiest dog breeds out of all the small dog breeds.
Mine had skin problems allergic to wheat gluten. The dog food was called solid gold $$$$$$

Amazing! How did you teach doggo the Bang trick?
by using a treat to get him to lie on his side. slowly incorporate the bang as the dog is in the process of lying on his side. i would not try to roll the dog over to lie on his side. let the dog try to learn this on its own.

Your dog is so cute my min pin is six years old and i tried the hoop thing and he just goes around it then grabs the treat then runs how did you get you dog to do that
Start real low to the ground and work your way up little by little I'm sure your six years old now seven min pin will handle it no problem they are smart dogs👍

What dog kennel do you use?
How did you get him to do all those tricks? Mine doesn’t listen!
Nothing in life is given, everything is earned. There were a lot of failures before success. Keep at it, every training session is one step closer to getting the trick. Hope you don’t get discouraged, keep it up and good luck!
@Bryant K would you mind sharing some of your trade secrets. My min pin will sit, shake, and lay down but I am having trouble with fetching, staying, etc. Was wondering if you wouldn't share some of your training secrets. Thank you in advance.
Food train the dog. Use all her rations for training.....it's worth a try.

I've had two min pins . Love the breed , but all they do it bark! They never shut up ... lol 🐾🐾
agreed! Thate are horrible!! They bark and yap non stop! even with dog schools and the ebst training they cant help but bark and yap they are annoying as fuck!

Mine rarely barks.
Mine literally never barks. At the beginning she sometimes barked (like two or three woofs) if she was happy when I entered the door when coming home. I told her to stop and since then she never barked again. Even not when people pass my door.
Min pins are a breed that is bred for watching the house. If you don't want your dog to watch the house, you better get a different breed.

Such a great dog! My Sadie lived to 13 years. Please be sure to brush your Gio's teeth for some reason mini pin's teeth need more attention then other breeds.
