Congrats on your pregnancy! 🎉you are allowed to feel all those feelings. We love our babies and love the fact that we get to grow them inside of us, but it is so hard in every aspect and that’s ok. I had body aches with my second baby, like any time I would do house work, my back and waist area felt like it had broken and it was horrible, but so worth it. You got this mama! 🎉
I had an anterior placenta with my daughter and son. I literally my entire pregnancy never felt my daughter, but my son I was feeling at 20 weeks. Every pregnancy is different forsure!❣️
I love the down dog prenatal yoga app (they have a few different ones but the prenatal yoga specifically). It's yoga but you can really customize your workout to focus on specific areas that are sore/tight, if you want it to be more work out based or restorative, how long you want it to be down to the minute, etc. I often will do it in the living room 2 or 3 times a day for like 10 minutes a time just to stretch out. Super versatile and highly recommend. Sometimes when I'm not feeling good I put whatever time and have all floor exercises just focused on stretching and relaxing.
I’ve always loved your personality and the way you talk about things. Can’t believe I’ve been watching you and your family for a while and till this day I still can not skip any of your videos 😂❤️ I watch them all from beginning to the very end 🥺 you’re the best ❤️❤️
I’m on baby #4 and I feel you with the pictures! I slacked with #3 too! Also I feel you on the ultrasound, I had to have one in the beginning at 8 weeks cause possibility of tubal! Thankfully the lady was nice and said small things here and there to let me and my husband know baby was good❤️
Hi Kayla! Pregnancy and Postpartum TV is a good youtube channel to find short and simple workouts. She has a ton of different videos for whatever you are looking for and you can modify them to be as challenging or as easy as you'd like.
The RUclips channel Postpartum and Pregnancy TV has some great workouts that I've been doing this pregnancy (currently 22 weeks). They go for 30 mins BUT you can break it up and do 15 minutes at a time if you like. I've loved it so far and don't feel exhausted after
Forgot to add that I was a qualified personal trainer specialising in women's health for 6 years and can safely say her workouts are perfect for pregnancy
I’m starting to feel very fortunate with my doctor and my doctor’s office in general. I love my doctor. She’s super nice. I hardly ever have questions, but she always asks if I do. If I have a question, I always get a good answer from her. I haven’t had any issues with the ultrasounds or anything. My sister sees a different doctor in the same office, and she is also super nice. The only issue I’ve had is waiting a super long time before getting into my appointment, but I understand that a lot of things can come up for an OBGYN.
Omg I haven’t been watching RUclips but congratulations!! I’ve been watching since you were pregnant with Jackson! He’s three weeks ahead of my 3 yo and I’m pregnant with baby #2 and 20 weeks! Im so glad you’re pregnant with me again, I love watching your stuff!!
My favorite favorite thing was a heated body pillow while pregnant! Basically a giant fluffy heating pad!! I have never heard of it till I was at my sister in laws house and I literally said “I’m taking this till I get one” 😂 she was okay with this of courses
Congratulations 🎉 ❤ I’m almost 28 weeks pregnant with baby #3. My other littles are almost 2 and 4 years old so I feel like I’m so busy that the pregnancy is flying by and I’m not soaking it all in. Thank you for reminding me to chill haha and it’s good to know another mom of 3 has these feelings too .
Squatting is awesome for a good and easy labor, in my personal experience. Both with and without epidural, my labor was so fast! I made a point of doing squats at least 3-4 times a week. As far as gender goes. Having two girls and one boy, I noticed that I was way more emotional during both of my daughter’s pregnancies.
I agree with the ultrasound, I’m in Michigan and the doctor would always do the 6 week check or if there was concerns about anything in the office. I was referred out to the hospital for my anatomy scans.
If you are not ready to start the nesting phase yet but want to relieve some of the anxiety related to not having purchased anything, my advice would be to create a full checklist of everything you think this baby would need and then check off every single thing you already own that way looking at your list you will know more concretely what else you need to acquire
Happy baby is well ❤️ I have 3 and the doona is a godsend for museums and indoor activities where the kids can run around & baby can be tucked comfortably. Also, super easy loading and unloading when having 2 coocoo toddlers running around.
How about going out on daily walks with the kids (afternoon or evening together) versus just being in the backyard. Can be a 15 min walk around the block or if there’s a park within walking distance take your double stroller and walk it.
Walking to me is the best form of getting exercise in 💗 i have two little girls and I remember when I was pregnant feeling unmotivated to do my normal workouts so I would jus go for walks and that alone helped so much, physically and mentally..and jus getting fresh air felt great. Maybe when it gets a little warmer that could be an option 💗 my doctor used to also tell me that walking is great for pregnancy. You look beautiful! So happy for you on baby #3! 🤗💛
I'm 20 weeks so I'm right there with you, I'm due July 22 and this is my first and I agree with feeling the flutters and I can definitely feel that I am pregnant. I'm having a girl and I go for a ultrasound again tomorrow.
Hey Kayla! I'm 16 weeks with baby #3 and I'm am right with you with the food! I've been going out to eat a lot and my husband sacrifices and will eat at home to save money. I'm definitely milking it since I'm prego! I also have an anterior placenta so I am curious to see when I will start feeling baby. It's really nice having your videos to watch along with my pregnancy journey. Especially as a homeshcool mom as well. Sending you prayers for happy healthy baby and mama!
You look great Kayla! We’re very close, I’m currently 24wks. I’m sorry your doctor’s office is short staffed it seems. I’m in FL things are pretty normal here, knock on wood. I think it’s normal to do less documenting for 2nd and onward pregnancies, life gets busier with other children to look after and all the other responsibilities. Wishing you a great anatomy scan and sending many prayers your way! ♥️
I had an anterior placenta as well and I didn’t even start feeling flutters until 23 weeks. It took til my 3rd trimester to feel like actual movement instead of like the muscle spasm like kicks. That’s the way they felt to me in the beginning. But also don’t feel bad for not taking the pregnancy pictures and all of that. I have one son and I think I have 2 pictures of my bump. I have zero professional pictures from my pregnancy. I’m just not the picture taking type of person. I also was just so miserable my entire pregnancy. But love your videos and love the pregnancy updates!
Omgoodness Im so happy for you I felt you guys would come around n have another,😉It's going to be great when it gets rough just remember they don't say that small forever💪🏽 aww Im so happy for you chica 💕 GodBless you n your family
With my third baby, I had tons of Braxton hicks from early on and my baby was on time and healthy, so don't let it stress you out 😊 And no one has time for pictures with the 3rd one lol
I’m on baby #3 as well - less time for sure (: I also get the idea of wanting more personal experience at doctor - I go to a midwife for that reason - it’s still not as personal as I’d like haha - but I do think they offer a more supportive tone than when I have primarily scene a gynecologist- toward the end of my pregnancy I will probably leave the midwife as I have have gotten diabetes the other two times - each type have their qualities for sure - congrats
I'm currently 25 weeks it's crazy how much this pregnancy is different from my first 😅 glad to see you doing well 💗 I'm in West VA and my doctors office is doing the same thing moving forward to have any ultrasounds I have to go to the Hospital since there's only one tech at the OBGYN and this time of year I guess everyone decided to be pregnant lol all my appointments are always far apart.im also so over this cold weather, it's so much easier when it's warmer and to whip out any dress. Wishing you a safe and healthy pregnancy! 💗
I’m on baby #3. I got pregnant on birth control and have no idea how far along I am but I feel little kicks already 😱 I’m going today to my first appointment!
Pregnancies are hard, always want the body back. My younger daughter would be super jealous if I were pregnant, the way they get jealous over grandpa is scary, both girls want to be on his lap! Thanks for the vlog!
Congrats on the pregnancy ❤️ I haven't finished watching but it's so crazy what you're saying about getting referred to the imaging facility. I live in Vietnam and I was pregnant and had my baby here. And all OBs have a simple ultrasound in their office to do routine simple check ups, the tech would only do the important ones in a more fancy equipment. I thought all OBs had that 😂 it seems logical to do it that way, as you say!
I am listening to your pregnancy update being 30 weeks pregnant myself and it is hard for me to believe how the health care system works in the US. I live in Poland and here you have an appointment every 4 weeks. I need to do the general blood work and urine test every single time. There is a vaginal examination to check your cervix lenght and vaginal pH and then every single time there is an ultrasound performed by your doctor. So, it would be hard not to know the gender until the end. I have seen my boys "jewels" all by myself and just confirming with my doctor that I see it correctly. Sometimes those 4 weeks seems like ages to me and I cannot wait to see the baby! So, very sorry for you that you have such long gaps between appointments!
Also, I’m really feeling the not having any clothes to wear. I have two pairs of maternity jeans that don’t fit me the best and then two pairs of maternity leggings. When I go out or go to work, I feel like I have nothing to wear. I am looking forward to warmer weather to wear some dresses, but dresses are not the best thing for me to wear to work. I just don’t want to buy more clothes since I plan on this being my last pregnancy, and I only have two months left. Always a struggle.
You have the cutest baby bump!! Unfortunately, with both of my pregnancies, I had dangerously high amount of amniotic fluid. So I just looked huge with no cute bump shape 😞 A lady in the grocery store asked me if I was having twins. 😭 I was devastated
I will save for my pregnancy I didn’t gain a lot of weight, aside from my belly, getting bigger, overall, I think I lost weight, especially in the first and beginning of second trimester, because I had such extreme food aversions that I was barely eating and I think that caused a lot of weight loss in the first trimester.
With my son I had the worst pain in my chest, like it felt like I was hit in the chest they hurt so badly for the first trimester into the second and that didn’t happen with my daughter at all so it’s weird .
Girl same, with the no working out 😂 I did pregnancy yoga to help with stretching and squatting. I just watched a RUclips video for 5 minutes a day. It helps with pelvic floor and blood flow. I don’t know if yoga is ok with catholic faith but it doesn’t need to be spiritual 👍🏻
I've only ever used a body pillow that I got from IKEA, I find pregnancy pillows are way too big. I even use it when I'm not pregnant, it's nice to snuggle with something that's not a furnace (aka my husband 😂)
Not that I have any experience, but I would do some research on the car seat because I think I heard that they can expire? Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm just so safety minded that I would be concerned about the plastic getting brittle or something 😅
It is absolutely normal not to be doing so many peripheral things to do with the baby. Life gets ultra busy with a very young family as well as husband church and house. So much. Don’t feel guilty you’ll do what you can I’m sure. You’re also prepping to go back to Miami. By the way, congrats on the new bub. I know you always wanted a third baby. Hope all goes well. Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺
I say this with love... Joe, cook the dinners. Joe, get the kids dressed for church. Joe, start preparing for your baby. This isn't all on her. It's 50% your responsibility! And she's doing her part by growing your tiny human for you. Step up. 🤦🏻♀️ I hate when moms talk about the things that *they* haven't been able to get done but don't even mention the fact that the baby's other parent hasn't bothered to get those same things done while not being pregnant themselves. You'd think they'd take initiative without being asked.
@@KaylaBuell I hear ya but I feel pregnancy requires 150% from the non-pregnant partner. No reason for you to have to explain to us why you haven't started on something. I totally agree with you. I don’t wanna say I didn’t like being pregnant but it was so uncomfortable. Love my little humans but the pregnancy was tough 😢
I’m halfway through my second pregnancy and i haven’t taken hardly any pictures of the bump and haven’t done a single thing to prepare for the new baby. Im sure by the third pregnancy, there’d be zero pictures 😂
