I can’t believe they brought back the caterpillar fight from the beta version of the game for this update but the only thing missing is giving it a jet black color
Yes there are some unused variants for some enemies in the game seen in the digital art book they have already have in-game models finished the reason why some of them have to be removed according to kishimoto they have to removed since it does not fit with the games memory across all platforms or something
Whenever I walk within a 70 meter radius of a guardian in this update accidentally I immediately know, first because of the title card, second because of the 100 projectiles suddenly heading in my general direction. So in other words… I genuinely have a lot of fun with the total chaos of these enemies lol
I realized that this is basically the caterpillar fight from the beta version of frontiers where we don't have to go through the rail grinding to fight it off
There’s gotta be a faster way to take this guy down. One thing I don’t understand about the new update content is the ridiculous spike in difficulty for like everything you do even unlocking area map challenges.
@@Yorigami32Xthis is deadass a 10 minute fight unless you use sonic which he’s currently locked for some people because of the story mode. Knuckles has absolutely no combos he can’t do shir against it

That kinda what the plus bosses are in a nutshell, since they all used unused attacks (and in Spider+ case, a unused color)

While I prefer the main story myself, I like how this Caterpillar is a lot closer to the beta version. Neat.

This boss fight mist be one of the worst in the game (maybe the worst), looks like they didn't test this thing.
