- Joseph, Kelsie, and Crockett begin their trek to 5000 mile trip to Alaska by taking the path less traveled. This leg of the trip takes them from the scenic views of Guadalupe Peak to a pitstop at Owl Vans in Mesa, Arizona, and ends with a surprise event: The 2023 Overland Expo West in Flagstaff. That Stone Grey (Coyote) Storyteller Overland BEAST Mode is looking good in the Arizona sun.
This is just the beginning for this "Road To Alaska Series". More Adventure On The Way.

Great video Joseph, Kelsie, and Crockett. My wife and I are looking at the Mode LT and your video inspires us to pull the trigger. Just "Subscribed" to your channel. Thanks again. 🙂
Stoked to hear it- Storyteller makes solid adventure vans and we've heard great things about the Mode LT. Anything that will get yall exploring is momentum in the right direction. Thanks for tuning in and appreciate the sub.
Subscribed, hoping to make the trip to Alaska from Phoenix, AZ next year, to pick up some of your stops along your trip and add to my route mostly off the pavement in a Toyota 4Runner with a dog. While I have been going to Overland EXPO for almost 20 years and drive past The Lost Dutchman weekly to work, I never thought of stopping by. Added to list here. Thanks for sharing. Safe trip.
Hard to beat an adventure in a 4Runner- That'll be an epic trip. Same has happened to us, seems like some of the best finds were in our backyard all along- The Lost Dutchman is a great spot and worth the stop. Thanks for tuning in and following our journey. When the day comes, hope you have the most EPIC Alaskan Adventure.
👏👏👏👍
Thanks for tuning in
To prevent dirt from getting in my storyteller. I just take my shoes off at the door every time I enter!
A good practice for sure- Now we just have to get our furry guy to comply- lol.
Great video! We have a beast mode and I haven’t been comfortable drilling holes for Starlink. How did u get window completely closed w wire?
Appreciate it @leegriffith2432. It took us some deep breaths before we decided to drill into the van for the Starlink, but it worked out great. If you go through the window, you can route the antenna wire through one of the vent windows on the driver side and get a fairly good seal when you close it back up. You might hear road noise from time to time, but it was so minimal that we considered keeping it this way. Hope that helps.
@@JosephCabreraExplore thanks!
@@leegriffith2432You're most welcome and congrats on the Beast. Hope it's taking you on some EPIC adventures.
This came up and I thought I’d get to see some things like maybe a look around your van but I all you film is your face with you talking
