- The short film was unplanned and in an effort to test out my first camera setup. Thanks to my girlfriend Tawnie for her creative input and for being such a good sport about it.
My dog Willow is already pissed enough at my RUclips shenanigans hence her disheveled blanket in the talking head shot (just like she likes it).
Also, I do realize I misspelled Weebill in the product title, oopsies! Mistakes will be made.

ND Filter: Freewell 2-5 Stop VND
All footage shot in S-Log 3, edited in FCPX, and graded with the help of Phantom Luts.

Great video you could’ve brought up your shadows in some of the shots as some of them were a bit dark but if that was the theme you were going for that’s cool too definitely subscribed as I want to see your journey
Thanks for the input! You may be totally right about it being slightly underexposed. I’ve since improved on exposing properly for slog 3

Nice video! Did you experience any overheating with the a7iv?
Thanks a bunch. I haven’t had any overheating issues whatsoever. I do have my auto power off temp set to “high” rather than “standard” which is the default. But to be honest I’ve only noticed the camera itself being hot to the touch after doing talking head stuff indoors for several hours at a time, but not a real issue.
My weebill s cannot use the record Button with a74.
I actually haven’t even tried to use that feature. I may try using it in the near future, hopefully you’ve been able to get it to work.
Great film. Great job. I am a novice too but don't think I could have done this. Your girlfriend is cool. My wife would never agree to anything like this in a million years!! Technical question, when you are tracking her on the skateboard, are you running or are you on a skateboard too? Thanks.
I was doing both. But mostly slowly skating alongside her on my longboard, not recommended with thousands of dollars of gear in hand 🤣

Honestly thought you had like 100k! I have this same setup and the extra wide lens definitely helps with the crop factor in 4K 60. It’s almost like getting two lenses in one! ;)

@@paulteelproductions1461 you’re welcome! Yeah, that’s why I did as well! I debated on that and the 28-75 for a while but it’s safe to say the 17-28 is definitely the go to for those certain shots!

My Sony A74 isn't compatible with weebill s, i can't use record button on gimbal but with stop record is possible. How about your setting? or did you have same issue with the gimbal? btw nice footage :)
Thanks for the compliments. I haven’t tried to use this feature yet. It hasn’t been a problem for me to use the record button on the camera itself. I did buy an additional back handle for the gimbal though which makes maneuvering the entire rig much easier.

not one single slow motion shot!?
Filmed entirely in 4k. My camera can only do 4k at 60fps which is what I shot the entire ending portion in and slowed it down by 50%.

@@paulteelproductions1461 it does slow mo but not at 60 right I don't think that would effect the shot that badly as you're more focused on the action in the slow mo than the quality🤔 loved the video you're super talented. What song was used love to add it to my Spotify if it's on there
The teal color grading has become so generic. Nice video though.
