Hi from NZ! Thanks so much for the nostalgia from a 72 MGB GT owner (ex-UK). Lovely to see so many classic cars. We're also ex-MX5 Mk1 and 2 owners. Your comments about the Morris 1100 were spot on - we suffered exactly that rot! Cheers, Geoff
Hello Richard . Another cracking show ! The hard top on that MGB was a Bermuda . That "Rally " mini with the sliding windows ? It had concealed hinges !!! A right mixture ! And l must say that TR5 was a horrible shade of Green ! Thanks Richard
Had a Morris 1100, sporty steering wheel, my wife loved, until we found out the dangerous faults. Ah well, that's life. Love the video, keep them coming. Peace be unto you.
I enjoyed this video very much . I have a Morris Minor 1000 and two ADO16, A' 67 MG sports saloon, and a '68 Austin America. The hydrolastic suspension in the ado16 are mind boggling on our washboard roads out here in the California high desert.
How nice to see the Austin 1100 I took on my Grandads in 1974 after his passing to try keep his memory going, inner and outer sills gone, sub frame gone, floor pan gone n/s so changed both, tried to keep it going but sadly after 2 yrs I had to scrap it 🙁 Lovely video to see the rare cars ty 👍🙂
"Pretty Car", love it. Great overage of a super meeting, many thanks. Some beautiful cars present. If I had to choose, it would be the Standard Steel Bentley and the Austin Big 7.
Nice to see so many MG's of different years. Very interesting to hear from an owner on the work done. I liked the 1100, a friend had one for a number of years I think he may have passed his test in, he loved that car. I know they are a bit modern but the TVR with that changing paint was so nice and not forgetting the thunderbird. Thanls Rick for a Great video.
Lovely cars, lovely day. My favourite was the Morris 1100. Second favourite the little black Austin. Thanks for the video. Cheers from Tasmania Australia.
I agree about the 1100, having learnt to drive on one exactly like it.. If I remember rightly that colour was advertised as smoke grey, which never struck me as a good description
@@jb3222 My first two cars were 1100s. The second one was an 1100 S which were an Australian special. Had the 1275 engine but single carb. Great little car. They were everywhere in Australia too but you rarely see one now.
Thanks for another great video. Which car(s) would I choose for the run? The Bentley MK6 Standard Steel saloon, or the silver Corvette that showed itself at the last minute.

Thanks Ken

First 😀 an excellent distraction from the worlds current turmoil. Comment before watching completely because I know it will be interestingly good.

Wonderful 360 of the Sunbeam Talbot and the Saab 👍👌
Thanks, they both deserved more than just a quick stroll-by :-)

Thanks for a great vid and showing my car.
Thanks for watching, which is your car?
@@oldclassiccarUK white mini :)
Great turnout and great weather. I didn't see any Morris Minors. I was quite surprised by that.
True, there's another gathering taking place in the same spot in a couple of months and there are usually a few there
Absolutely with you re number plates - if it’s newer than 1972 at the youngest they just look ridiculous 👍
Great to see the classics hold up well against the moderns.
Cool cars

TR5!!!
well I was happy to see a TR3 even thou it was a big mouth not many of ones like mine a small mouth.
Is that saab three cylinders/ Any body? It looked so good, and I know little about them. Peace be unto you.
The earlier SAAB 96s were 3-cylinder 2-stroke powered, this era of car though has a Ford of Germany V4 engine.
🚗🙂
