Meh, people always say this, but this is recency bias. Last season Alpine were actually challenging and finished in 6th. Last year it was such a good move for Pierre because it looked like RB were ready to boot him pretty soon and honestly he didn't have much of a choice but to jump ship. Only now it seems awful (which it is). It's all part of the gamble of risk and reward drivers take.
And of course! Alpine’s new mgmt. blames the old one. Yup! As if they were not improving plus had a promising team… Corporate politics area sometimes worse than our leaders.
