It's amazing how a different perspective can alter your way of thinking. I've never fished a dropshot shallow. I couldn't tell you why I haven't, but a dropshot in or around a bed makes sense. Thanks again for solid information Randy.
Randy, by passing your tag end of the line through the bottom side of the hook, your hook will be upside down. I pass my tag end through the top so that the hook will be upright.
Hey Randy, I heard you mention Aaron Martins on your latest video and was wondering if you've heard anything on how he's doing with his health;please advise, thanks Henry.
I bet I've watched over a dozen videos of yours this weekend. I'm terrible about hitting that like button but every video is a double thumbs up. Thanks again for taking time to do these videos for us.
When I was like 12 years old a Hibdon grandson beat me for 1st in the state of Missouri on the youth flw series. Second place got me a pair of solar bats, man I wish I knew where those were haha
When them glasses come on y’all better be paying attention! I’ll be at Table Rock 23 to the 27 of this month! Maybe see on the water. Definitely going to be using some of your secrets! Keep them coming.
Love the shout out for Danny C. He still catches them the same way. The dude can throw that cut down finesse worm in an empty fish tank and catch a 4 pounder! Drives me crazy!
Great tips! Another benefit to hooking the bait like you showed is that it helps cut down on twisting. When you hook the bait up through the middle of the nose without punching it all the way out the other side it falls more naturally instead of helicoptering. Probably not a huge concern when fishing shallow but it's something I learned when I first started to drop shot so just thought I'd mention it.
Interesting drop shot technique that I will try, 8 pound test around docks and brush does scare me some but I will use this setup and report back. Thanks Randy!

Great info as always and thanks for sharing your knowledge with us as you do. I have had great luck using the Creme 4” Scoundrel worm as a finesse/drop shot bait. I also fish them weightless and tied with a rig that gives them a slow corkscrew action using a slow stop and go retrieve. It was the ticket in the gravel pit ponds I fished many years ago.
I try to always use 3/16 oz as well good tip, I’ve also been using the 3inch roboworm Aaron’s magic, has a dark green with a blue stripe going along the side. Been killing them on that color right now.
Love the insider tips Randy! I was wondering, for lakes that have consistently low visibility, do you target those fish differently than a low visibility period in a normally clearer lake? Hope I’m making sense here. Have a great day!

After you cut the edges off the head of the worm wave a lighter flame under it to melt it nice & smooth (if you care about that much detail.)
Randy second the motion to autograph the solar bat box on your giveaway. maybe also give away an autographed bait every week for new subscribers; could be a used bait one you have used in the past.
Man I have worked so hard to not cause that fray on the tag end of the drop shot, I have it perfect now but if mine curls the way yours does I cut it off. My bass here in Az are so line shy here that I have to pay attention to the smallest details. That drives me nuts seeing your tag line curled up like that lol.
I wish you would be out in the boat...and doing hands on fishing...while your out on the lake ...you can explain the technique...and fish it and show us...that woukd be awesome....I did the toothpick trick and I caught 2 back to back in 2 different spots......
Randy, regarding subscriptions, some of my buddies are afraid to subscribe. I told them that you can turn off notifications, and then they subscribed. I wonder how many other people may be concerned about getting notifications that they don't want?
No frills no BS. Straight up info from over 40 years of experience. Cant thank you enough
My Thoughts Aswell, Thanks so Much

Thanks for the history behind each set up!!! I forgot about Danny, I read about him in Bass Times!!!!
Love your channel!! I am glued to this and sponging all I can. BIG TY Randy.
Can’t wait to try this tip Randy. Thanks from Western Kentucky.
Randy, by passing your tag end of the line through the bottom side of the hook, your hook will be upside down. I pass my tag end through the top so that the hook will be upright.
I’ve done both and seem to get the same hookup ratio
agree john. stays straight and hooked in top of the mouth always. AZ is dropshot STATE!
@@randyblaukatintuitive I tried the blue tail with my dad today the same set up and wore the fish out . thanks so much.
Yep has to go through the front of the hook
Where can I get the dye you mentioned? Can I get name & brand info too please. May try this technique. Thanks so much Randy! Randy 2 😅
Love ur vids randy.
Uni knot. Long tag end. Run tag end back thru the top of eyelet. This works for me.
Very glad that I came across your channel. You are the man and I like getting tips from a true fisherman, not video game fishermen.
Hey Randy, I heard you mention Aaron Martins on your latest video and was wondering if you've heard anything on how he's doing with his health;please advise, thanks Henry.
Another new idea for me to play with. Have to try the blue dye idea up here

Thank you sir for your secret bass setups. Love the channel....
can't wait to try that secret . Thanks Randy

Good video Randy. Ordered me a pair of solar bats Friday.
Thanks Randy! Really appreciate all your tips based on experience. Look forward to trying this rig.
Thanks Randy !!
Love your attention to detail. Great tip!

I look forward to trying this. Tks Randy for the information
Great info randy! Thank you!
Great advice thanks
great tip randy.
Excellent as always. I need to learn how to fish this better. 👍
Can you start leaving links to the products you show? Would be great to do.
Why because reading a label and doing a google search is THAT hard for you ? How do you get up out of bed ? Crane ?

Appreciate the content (from a subscriber).
Your the man Randy!
Watching from Liverpool UK 🇬🇧. What dye are you using please. Love your videos by the way

Im gonna try this tomorrow!
love these tip videos thanks for sharing.
Very cool
Thanks for the tips. Great info as always.
Great video Randy
Can you show how to tie the Palomar to line from the rod. I always seem to get the hook upside down.
Randy what would make you choose this over a dropshot wacky?
another great tip!!!!!!!!
Oklahoma anglers here, do you still fish a drop shot in muddy water? Like Grand lake as an example.
Love the insider tips Randy!

Another great video. Thankyou for all the tips. Question... why ruff up worms?
to help release the salt in the bait. The same way he did in the ned rig vid.
Randy 6-8lb test but will u use that on braid to fluoro or straight Fluor? Great info as always. Thanks
I’m not Randy but he said in another video he doesn’t like braid to fluro!
If I cut a six inch finesse worm in half would it have the same effect 🤔
Randy

Works for River fishing too? If water clarity is only about a foot?
Tried to get blue dye at bass pro they didn't have any but thanks for the tip
And that's how you do it ! Now go getem...
Did you ever consider using this system with a floating worm?
try a owner cps centering pin spring in the nose use 6# line try it on a fluke too
So instead of cutting the worm why not use a shorter worm?
Just seems a little odd seeing that hook upside down. Good job as always.Thanks.
Do you throw on a spinning real or baitcaster?
🔥
What spinning reels do you use?
I wish you would be out in the boat...and doing hands on fishing...while your out on the lake ...you can explain the technique...and fish it and show us...that woukd be awesome....I did the toothpick trick and I caught 2 back to back in 2 different spots......
What kind of rod do u use for the drop shot ?
Schools in session !

Thx man!
i have been hooking like that for about a year
Watch the video, he tells u all u need to know
Lol u always say u got these top secret techniques 😅😅🤦♂️ tight lines
Try a pencil sharpener to round that worm off, Randy.
VMC Spin Shot is the best hook.
@@KRWFishing Right on I'll definitely take the advice. Well I've slowly been drop shoting less. So maybe my stuffs not right. ✌️😎
Best content on YT. Thanks for all the great tips.
