    I love the jackhammer. I know the zman will catch fish, but I think it’s worth the extra money for the consistency of a jackhammer. Some people spend a bunch of money on jerkbaits, swim baits etc. jackhammers are just where I feel the difference the most.

    Here’s my two ones , ok I’ll go with that
    Randy have you put that Spark shad on the jig upside down before I feel it helps hold it too the bottom better when threading upside down with that flat side down on that z craw or any flat bait I can’t get the chatter bait too stay on the bottom the spark shad has that belly so when threading upside down belly up I can keep it close too bottom a lot easier

    I freckin LOVED how u put the first 30 seconds of this video. That's exactly why I watch every single one of them😂😂🧢🧢🤟🤟😅 also I think the z craw is one of the most universal soft plastics ever made. My favorite jig trailer especially when I'm skipping under docks or laydowns. I rig the z craw vertical on the chatterbait.. the top leg kicks a little slower than the bottom like an injured bait fish or whatever. Menace works the same. But good vid

  • @CyberYaker
    @CyberYaker 3 года назад

    I used to use jackhammers until I discovered the H2O Bladed Jig from Academy. Half the price and more action in my opinion. And Rage Tail Rage Menace for trailers. And this has been working for me.

    That’s actually the ChatterBait Elite series. The Elite has a painted head that matches the skirt, a wire tied skirt and a 5/0 Gamakatsu hook. The blade is close to the head too. It’s a couple bucks more than the original but worth it for the components and action.

    • @shawnbeck2303

      Hey, Patrick! I fished a lake that was stocked with small mouth's and Largemouth's found a pre rigged Carolina rig with a Pumpkin colored lizard. Or Texas rigged. Worked well here in Indiana. Also a down turned bill Shad from Rapala. Bounced off RIP Rap. Worked just as well. But the best bait is a KVD 1.5 squarebill crank in Sexy Shad color caught me the most bass last year. Well over 50 bass in 1.5 hours on Mother's day last spring. Just bought 5 more at Walmart. 6 to 6 Quantum Pulse baitcaster reel is the right speed. Medium heavy rod with Suffix 832 Moss Green 30 braid. Well I just gave away my best bass Secret's. Been fishing for 55 years. Had my best year to date. Going tomorrow to test the red theory. The color red for pre spawn. If I don't catch them. I will go to a Z man Chatterbait in CHARTREUSE and white with a White fluke dyed in CHARTREUSE Garlic Spike it. Turn the Zoom Fluke upside down for better action on a medium rod. You will fill the vibration change when a bass hit it. Good luck Patrick! Shawn.
