  • "Once Our Way" includes interviews with people from the community of Tununak, Alaska, in southwest Alaska. This 1970s film also contains scenes of subsistence activities, and traditional drumming and dancing. The film was made possible by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Alaska State Council on the Arts, and the Alaska Humanities Forum. It was photographed, produced and directed by Yup'ik filmmaker Andrew J. Chikoyak. (Color/Sound/16mm film).
