  • Very practical, incredible easy and very durable, you can use different abrasive paper grits.
    You just need:
    Dremel or any other rotary tool.
    Sandpaper similar to the one that i used.
    Wood glue.
    Plastic pipe (i used 16mm)
    Painting/paper tape
    Cork !!
    Very easy and cheap to do, this is an updated version of the first video that i did 3 years ago ;)

    Found your video using Pinterest, but I couldn't leave a message there, so I searched you on RUclips.
    I have to say thank you, because it didn't occur to me to wrap the Sandpaper around using a long strip. Thats brilliant, and a no brainer, but I would have just done it the way I always do. Which is cutting a rectangular piece of sandpaper, and gluing it on a dowel.
    Your way is ten times more efficient, and effective.
    Guess I'll just have to subscribe, and stop wasting my time on less efficient ways of doing things. 😅
    Thank You for posting, and sharing your genius. I appreciate you.
    I hadn't watched the whole video, when I wrote my comment. Oh my goodness the cork idea with any tube is spectacularly clever. Obviously you just find a new cork. I bet those fake corks would be even better-Discuss.🤪Stole that from Cinemasins.
    I think I'm in love❤😜

      @@DTeK if I promise to keep my questions short may I ask your permission to ask you some questions?
      You answered me right away which shows me your courteous. Plus you did a second video 8 years later, to fix what you thought was a mistake. That shows me that you have a heart. I bet that was bothering you.

    For people asking about the pvc pipe diameter: he has to sand the cork (which is 24/25 mm diameter) so it all depends on how much you sand it down.
    E.g: Lets say you have a 25 mm cork and sand 5mm off from it, your pvc pipe needs to be 20mm.
    This explanation sounds kinda silly but since I see so many people asking the same...

    • @DTeK
      @DTeK  2 года назад +2

      in this case i used 16mm pvc pipe, the cork just need to be sanded a little bit bigger than the inner diameter of the pvc pipe for a tight fit, thank you for your reply :)

    • @DTeK
      @DTeK  3 года назад

      Thanks, i don´t remove anything, the plastic pipe is part of the "drum sander", i just cut it in smaller pieces and the smaller pieces will fit in the "cork attachement" has you can see in the final part of the video.
