Love the Pat Friermooth take good fall back plan at TE a lot of the highend ones will be kept in my home league. Getting Bowers with him seems like a good strategy.
100%. Fins fan and fantasy fanatic here. I'm targeting the hell out of Wright in dynasty and redraft. Bigger than Achane, 4.38 40. He's going to at minimum have boom games but probably be a long term stud. I want no Achane at the cost and a whole lotta Wright
@@princekubakuba9682 i think Achane will be fine, but I don't like him at ADP. He had 7% target share last year. Fins brought in Smith and OBJ. So at best he goes up to maybe 10% which is a solid 58 or so targets. He had 26% or rush attempts at the position last year. Let's say he goes up to 40%. That's 164. So 10 rushes 3 targets a game for a guy being drafted in the 2nd? I know he's explosive but he won't see 8ypc again, that was nuts. Mostert is still there and they traded back into this draft to get Wright. Wright is bigger with almost the exact same speed. So I doubt we won't see Wright on the field about as much as we probably saw Achane last year. Look, I had Achane on my main league last year. Loved him. Started him and Mostert side by side a few weeks. I just wouldn't spend a 2nd when there are so many good WRs there and plenty of RBs later with the same amount or more workload. That's why I prefer Wright and Mostert at their ADP.

There are two RBs I will be drafting this year mid-round: Aaron Jones and Mostert. Aaron Jones was one of the best backs last year. He had THREE TDs at Dallas in a playoff game. We are supposed to believe that a guy who did that suddenly fell off just because he is one year older and now on the Vikings? I am a Vikings fan. Our offensive line is mediocre at worst, when we run the ball. And with Mostert, yes, he is like 32, but he had 15(!) TDs last year. And you can get him like 3 rounds later than Achane.
Mostert is fine as a RB4, but Aaron jones is more expensive and not appealing over Rhamondre, Brooks, Zamir, and Moss. He is washed. I’m choosing younger and high ceiling potential over him and probably Mostert too.
My dynasty team is top heavy. 4 of consensus top 15 players. 2 more in top 30. Then dust. Need upside guys to pair with consistency guys this year. Oddly, nobody pops out. Puka did last year and loved getting him last round of the draft, but I don't hear the same buzz elsewhere this year. Feels flat.
Rome is the WR version of Gibbs last year. Everyone’s scared of the incumbents and the uncertainty. But the talent is just that good. My hot take is Rome is the Bears’ WR1 in fantasy scoring this year, as a rookie.
Huge fan of Rome, but hate his situation. This is already giving the Bears coaching staff and Caleb Williams a ton of credit. I don’t trust either. I’d be fine with picking up Allen as a WR3, but I do NOT trust the Bears staff, and expect Caleb Williams to bust.
Brandon Cooks didnt look washed, he didnt get many targets..this year he will he WR 2 instead of WR3..he costs nothing , ill take WR2 in a high volume passing offence before a WR4 all day. If Christian Watson hamstrings are fixed..the other 3 wideouts are going to take a step back
I was 100% out on Chase just because he was very inefficient on his runs last year. He had those 2 great weeks where he had long screens where he wasn’t touched for 30 yards. Although I have questioned moss from the jump. Hearing the Bengals using Chase with so many first team snaps at camp , I have no choice to get some shares now.
I like De'Von Achane, I have utmost respect for his game. However, I am not drafting him because of these reasons. 1. It will likely still be a 50/50 backfield between him and Mostert, and if that's the case, Mostert is the way better value and has nearly the same speed and elusiveness as Achane does. Playing around only 50% of the snaps last season, Raheem Mostert finished as the RB2 in Sleeper leagues. 2. Achane was injured last season, and it's not to hate him in any way, but he had more to prove than Mostert did, and played hard. With all of the hype and expectation around him, who's to say he won't try to prove his worth by perhaps "going too hard" and end up getting injured again, while Mostert continues to play it safe and has a relatively injury free season like last year? 3. 2nd Round matches his upside, and I think he's deserving of his ADP, but for the same reasons as above, if I can just draft Mostert (whos playing all of the snaps DeVon Achane isn't), and get similar or better results, why not draft someone like Kyren Williams or even Rachaad White in round 2, someone with the GUARANTEED RB1 spot?
There are best ball drafts and bestball (dynasty/redraft/keeper) leagues. In best ball drafts like underdog, you draft and that's it. Some "normal" leagues are best ball, which function normal with trades and waivers but pick your best starting lineup automatically
@@DerultimateKeks oh I see, that’s what I thought… I heard underdog also does 3 WR as their standard… they kind of just play by their own rules and it’s F’ing with my head Like ESPN and yahoo it’s just 2 WRs
I KNOW THIS IS LONG AND SEEMS LIKE SPAM, BUT IT IS NOT. TAKE 3 Mins TO READ THIS, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOSE AND YOU MIGHT JUST FIND THE STEAL OF THE DRAFT! Is this the steal of the draft? Who? Bryce Young. Now hear me out...I beg you. Stroud and Richardson are getting all the hype this year, and rightfully so, but Young has talent. That is why he was the number one over all pick in the NFL draft. He brings a little rushing upside (not alot) but a little. I know strength of schedule changes year to year so you cannot count on this...but Young has one of the best schedules for QBs fantasy football wise. But the biggest reason I like him....is his coach. Dave Canales. Dave was the QB/passing coach for Geno in 2022 when he, easily, had his best year of his career. Why did Geno's numbers dip from 2022 to 2023 (last year)? Well, Dave did leave. I am not saying that is the only reason...but Dave did leave Seattle after 2022 to be the O coordinator for Tampa in 2023. What happened in TB last year? Baker had his best season of his career. Interesting!!!! Now Dave is the head coach of Panthers. Granted.... and I cant argue against this...but I get that Seattle and TB has better WRs and talent compared to Panthers.... but Young is going DIRT CHEAP in drafts. So if you punt on QB.... take Young late. Cost you nothing and he is set to do well. This might be his year. Am I counting on it? Probably not if I was a betting man. However, look at the pattern with Dave involved. Funny how as soon as R. Wilson left Seattle (and Dave) he sucked. (I may have to look a little harder at D. Johnson too - cause he is going dirt cheap too). Just sharing this because if you are trying to find gold late (super late) you have nothing to lose with Young due to his price. That is just my opinion. Thanks for reading
Achane had an insane outlier season so we should buy him. Mostert had an insane outlier season so we should fade him. Mostert isn't a volume guy even tho he had 100 more carries last season. Mostert is fragile so you can't trust him. Achane got hurt 3 times but that's no big deal.
Mostert is on the wrong side of 30, so we can project him to get worse, like every non HOF RB does at that age. Before 2023 he had one amazing playoff game and a whole lot of nothing. Achane is a rookie who is expected to grow and keep getting better with more opportunities. Yes, he’s tiny, yes he got hurt three times. But injuries can’t be predicted unless you’re an insider and have guy’s medical records or know they’re not putting in the proper conditioning, or the guy is Jason Verrett who gets hurt every year for a decade. In addition, rule changes are making players like Achane and Tank Dell more viable and give them a chance at long productive careers.
I had puka, Kyren, and Nico last year and missed the playoffs. Every team I played had their highest score of the season. Luck was not on my side regardless if I dominated the waiver
Guys do we not realize that hamstring injuries are serious and linger the most out of any other injury? And to the guy on the right, he completely contradicts his take with devon achane when talking about raheem mosterts only productive year in a long time
It has a lot to do with the scheme and we dont know the situation in that backfield with now 3 potential rbs although i think it will be mostert and achane for the most part. Cooper kupp has a pretty long injury history and due to hamstrings lingering + his age. I agree that where hes being selected could be a potential steal but lets not overhype it. And for achane, top 8 rb i think is a little crazy. We’ll see tho
This info is only good for home leagues. For sharp leagues, these guys are being over drafted where guys that I normally “hate” are dropping and turn into value picks.
Josh’s argument for Rome Odunze is so odd. “Would he go earlier if the Giants or Cardinals selected him?” Well no, because the reason why he went behind Nabers and Harrison is because he’s not as good as those guys…
Dobbins?! Come on. He is getting paid less than 100k and is returning from Achilles injury. RB explosiveness greatly decreases after Achilles injury. This sounds like the Akers vs Kyren situation last year. Vidal should be the one we are talking about more
I dont get the bowers love. A rookie te with a crappy qb and with another good te already on the team. Devonte has enough trouble getting the ball, i have no interest in bowers
I think Cole kmet is very undervalued. Yes there are a lot of weapons on the bears offense but remember when tight ends we're getting increased value when they had a rookie QB?
Honest comment and I hope for your feedback… I watched almost no college football last year but once the playoffs came, I did a little DFS and I had Odunze as captain or the flex in all of my lineups and got completely burned. I watched him look outsized and get completely shut down by what I would consider to be the first real defense they played. Am I wrong that he’s going to get dominated in the NFL? I think he’s candidate for the biggest bust of the year and I presently have zero % due to this and the three headed monster dividing up targets in Chicago. I actually have 0% Chicago players currently. They are the biggest risk to bust, in my opinion. I am completely comfortable having 0% of him and I intend to end the season 0% , unless I hear a compelling argument as to how that Championship game was an anomaly. The PAC 12 sucked and I think both he and Caleb Williams are in for a rude awakening in the NFL, after above average seasons in a poor conference. And I am a West Coast guy who has a lot of respect for football outside of the SEC. Just calling it as I saw it. Did my eyes deceive me?

Josh’s argument for Rome Odunze is so odd. “Would he go earlier if the Giants or Cardinals selected him?” Well no, because the reason why he went behind Nabers and Harrison is because he’s not as good as those guys…
He is saying that rome is behind Moore and Allen while on those teams he would be the no 1 option
The world will know Colby Parkinson’s name
Maybe you should learn his name before that happens 😂😂🤧🤧
Where's Hayden !?
Only thing that worries me about pat is that he’s one or two concussions away from having to retire, hit his head way too many times
I sure as hell hope Wicks doesn’t turn into some stud after I traded him away for Corley during my rookie draft…
Did Raheem Mosert die? Why everyone over Achane ...
Dobbins?! Come on. He is getting paid less than 100k and is returning from Achilles injury. RB explosiveness greatly decreases after Achilles injury. This sounds like the Akers vs Kyren situation last year. Vidal should be the one we are talking about more
Great content but my guy Ron needs to learn how to pronounce Achane's first name lol
Wtf are all these bot comments????
Paid for by Ron
I dont get the bowers love. A rookie te with a crappy qb and with another good te already on the team. Devonte has enough trouble getting the ball, i have no interest in bowers
I think Cole kmet is very undervalued. Yes there are a lot of weapons on the bears offense but remember when tight ends we're getting increased value when they had a rookie QB?
People forget Puka has been a major injury risk his entire football career
Nabers will have over 1150 yards
Achane is almost the same ht/wt as Kyren, and same weight as James Cook... he'll be okay lol
Giants will have a new QB under center...
Dolphins dropped 70 against Denver that should be considered when targeting dolphins players...
Achane a backup explosive rb who finished top 10 hmmm who does that sound like… maybe that guy who’s on the titans now
Achane is mostly a product of tyreek and how defenses don't know how to defend all the speed everywhere.
Disagree, he's a talent. If anything he has been schemed to good opportunities, but I wouldn't knock that.
Even if that’s true Tyreek and Waddle are still there
Honest comment and I hope for your feedback… I watched almost no college football last year but once the playoffs came, I did a little DFS and I had Odunze as captain or the flex in all of my lineups and got completely burned.
