Always enjoy Mr. Nuebert's videos. His delivery is very conversational vs scripted. He is towards the top of the food chain of folks that do basketball videos / podcasts / radio or whatever you choose.
Always enjoy your videos. I respectfully disagree with where the upside for Purdue comes from. The upside needed will need to come from Jones and Heide. Their athleticism will be needed or Purdue will falter. Also, Edey is fantastic but he is no Glenn Robinson nor Joe Barry Carroll. At least not yet… Boiler Up!
Again, Lance Jones is the biggest difference between last year and this year. Everyone else looks basically the same, up and down, too many turnovers vs ball pressure. Lance Jones adds tremendous speed and skill while still playing very good defense.
I just cannot get enough videos including podcasts about Purdue basketball. NONE compare to watching and listening to Brian Neubert. Keep up the great work sir. You are outstanding!!!
“If the five ranked teams here are the final four standing in March…I know that doesn’t make sense, just go with it…”😂😂 thanks Brian for always bringing great analysis and a good laugh!
Last year - Purdue's losses always happened when shooting was poor and/or turnovers were high. That will always be true, but THIS TEAM can usually overcome even those defiencies may be overcome. I prefer this "building to Eeite team" to last year's "good out of the gate team" approach. The ONLY thing that matters is hitting PEAK PERFORMANCE next March. I BELIEVE this team can do that! Excellent wrap video Brian - but that is just Edey-like EXPECTED performance!
The Marquette game was spectacular demonstration of two great teams playing at the highest level. Really enjoyed it compared to the Tenn game, which to me was in the gutter due to Tenn coach's "the refs can't call all the fouls" game plan.
Your comments on Edey were spot-on . Too many take him for granted because of his size. Did anyone think that about Shaq? No. Nor should we take Zach for granted. Don’t watch the ball, watch Zach…he makes up for the fact that our guards can’t stop penetration. That’s my one concern…not being able to stop guard penetration. Offensively, our guards are as good a pair as any…but just not quick enough on defense.
Zach doesn’t even get credit for most of his effective defense, which is when a guy drives the basket, Zach takes one step up, and the ball handler puts on brakes and heads the other direction, probably happens 15-20 times a game.
Once again we win in spite of coach Painter. How is it other teams make their FTs & Painter coached teams lucky to make 50% in big games? And once again our starters will be fried come Feb/March bc he’s overplaying them now & not sufficiently developing our bench players. Can’t wait till he retires!
Bad take, Painter is the only reason we get to have hope in the first place. My enjoyment of the season is not exclusively determined by a single elimination tournament in March, and if yours is, then I’d rather not continue this discussion because it wouldn’t be worth talking with you.
There’s a lot of time against lesser competition to build up Colvin and Heide. Not sure why missing FTs is painters fault. Minutes were heavy on starters but these were big resume wins and Purdue made a statement. Not sure why you’re wanting to get rid of painter when they just beat 2 of the top teams in the nation back to back.
First of all, let me say how wonderful it is to see you in Hawaii compared to where you were 1 year ago!! 💪 Great wrapup! 🚂🚂
I’ll never not smile when I see a new Neubs video pop into my feed
Thanks Brian!

If Purdue would have hit their free throws they would have won easily by 10 or more both against Marquette and Tennessee
That incredible shot by Jones before the halftime buzzer wasn't form Crawfordsville, it was from Terre Haute.
So glad to see Fletcher hasn't lost his confidence. Maybe my worries were unfounded...regardless, so damn happy to see it 💪 Boilers up!
"Mahalo Nui Loa" (Thank you very much)
Cant forget about Glenn Robinson

IIRC Haarms transferred after Edey’s arrival. Now we can see why. Elite.
Why don’t you ever wear purdue gear?
I believe the word you were looking for is mahalo
Looking forward to this season. Thanks for the great wrap videos!
Brian old age setting in man , you drift on words triggered i.e. Marriott lol.....appreciate you

Oh yeah God forbid he play our best players, and yeah I think painter really is the reason that we missed our free throws uncharacteristically.

The ignorance and distortion of perspective with this comment is stunning.
OH NOES!
PAINTER CANT COACH!!
BARELY BEAT NUMBERS 11, 7 AND 4!!!
WOE IS ME!!
Bet you dream of the first loss so you can revel in your hate.
